    Sigh. A long time favorite of ours has failed to deliver. Our Thanksgiving dinner meal - which we were so looking foward to - was, well, better than Denny's! Yeay! And for only three times the amount! Yeay! Seriously, they were sitting people in the banquest hall opened just for the occasion, the table was so wobbly the waiter brought out a wedge, discovered that the tables they had just gotten were not put together correctly, tried to move us to another table, it was assembled incorrectly, one chair had food-encrusted upholstery. And, we got to sit back in a room with Holiday Inn chic sliding divider walls. The special Thanksgiving dinner food? Denny's. Sad to see an old staple fall so far.

    First off, this is a steak house, don't expect ""chili's"" prices. I love the spinach sides, the potato sides and the butter boiling under the steak as its brought to you. Haven't tried the cheesecake yet because my tummy is usually too full by desert but im sure its de-lish. I've been there about 10 times and i'd say only once or twice the service has been just under awesome so all in all, do some cardio before you go in and indulge.

    I always have a reservation when I go, I NEVER wait, the moment I arrive I'm seated. And its not because I'm some long time patron, I'm in my early twenites. The service is amazing.     My husband ate at. a RC location in Naples, and came home raving. insisting we try it here in Coral Gables. We had a 8:45 reservation, and were 10 min. late, however were seated by 9:10, about a 20 min. wait, After seating us, the hostess asked me if I would prefer a black napkin, as I was wearing a black dress. It never arrived, I had to ask our waitress for a napkin. Service was prompt, and OK for the most part. We each ordered a glass of champagne, which was brought to us right after the appetizer, which arrived almost too fast. We were told the champagne had been cooling down, but it was lukewarm. We had the calamari appetixer which was fine. My husband and I both had the rib eye, ordered medium rare. The butter on the top was a nice and decadent touch, but the steaks were WAY too fatty. Rib eyes are well known as the ""fattiest"" cuts, but the fat should be mostly running through the meat, with not much on the outside. I had to cut away at least 3-4 inches total of pure fat. I know what a good rib eye looks and tastes like, because we grill them ourselves every Sun. This does not mean that I can't appreciate a good steak cooked by someone else, but I was not impressed. The ones my husband cooks here at home are far better. Perhaps if the steak had been trimmed a little better. It's almost as though they left that much fat on to make the steak appear bigger, I don't know. Also, it was a little bit rarer than medium rare. To be fair, once I cut the fat away, the remaining steak was pretty good. There was also a certain amount of gristle. The au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach were good. My son ordered the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection and he enjoyed it. We did not have dessert. Bottom line is that I would not return here again, we do it better at home. As I told my husband as we left, this place would be good for people that do not know how to grill themselves, and for those that were on the ignorant side about what makes a good rib eye.

    If your looking for graet beef then your at the right place. 100 times better than Morton's or Smith & Wollensky could ever hope to be. The room is lovely with attentive servers: very rare in Miami. Everything is as you like. Perfect!

    This is the best place in the whole wide world!!!! Not only was the steak a juicy, delicious, melt-in-your-mouth perfection of a masterpiece.... so was the appetizer, the salad, AND the dessert! Never have all course of a meal been so exquisite! The place has the decor of Bill Gate's attorney's law firm..... with wood panels and beautiful settings all over. The service I must admit was.... OK.... but good enough for me! (I just had my eyes on that beatiful steak! s-l-u-rrr-p)

However, depending on ""who-knows-what"" factors, the quality of the food and service fluctuates from good to poor. If there is anything consistent about this chain is that it is very inconsistent. In sum, not worth the price. Go to The Palm or Shula's for better steaks and service in the Miami area.

    Ruth's Chris' steaks and service are as sizzling as the platters they bring your steaks on. I've had steaks at Ruth's Chris in Miami (North Miami Beach), Fort Lauderdale, and Baton Rouge and have never had anything less than excellent!

    The steaks just melt in your mouth. Side orders are a la carte but the portions are huge. Your best bet is to spilt the side dishes. Their service is always top notch. Your taste buds will thank you.

    Unfortunately, this branch of one of the best steakhouses in New Orleans does NOT measure up. I love the original in NOLA but this one just misses the mark, possibly because Ruth is not sitting at her corner table watching over the place. Overall this was a dissappointment to me.
