We first tried The Boatyard on a late afternoon. The view is beautiful and you can really relax . The cocktails are good - if not a little pricey. We sampled a few appetizers and were very satisfied. Enjoying a cocktail and watching the boats come in is a little piece of heaven.

This place has good food and great atmosphere. The food has an island / key west flair, with an emphasis on the wonderful seafood that is so readily available in our area. They offer sweet potato french fries, which I didn't really like. They have great appetizers, entres and desserts - just about anything is great! I've only had dinners there, and they are priced a little on the high side. It's a loud place, so it's not a good romantic date night place to go. It's a fun, "I love summer" place to go. My husband and I went on our boat and docked to get out and eat. That was fun. The decor is classy. The building is mostly open air with only a few small rooms inside the air conditioning. Most people want to eat out in the open though. We've always had an enjoyable time, and will definately go again.

This restaurant is great for a relaxing Friday night cocktail after a long week of work. The drinks range from low (3.75 for a Corona) to high (8.00 for a margarita). The open setting is enjoyable as you sit and look out onto the water and enjoy the breeze. I've tried the cheesedip and the baked oysters and neither were to my liking. I hear the hamburgers, though expensive, are very large and very tasty!
