I have seen countless shows at Ruth Eckerd Hall, the most professional theater in this area. I even took a summer camp here when I was much younger. I have seen everything from Bill Cosby to the Magic School Bus to a Tchaikovsky orchestra piece. If you are a student, like me, you may like to know that they offer $10 tickets for any show. And you can sit in the very front row, too, if you want.

I am constantly checking their calendar for upcoming shows. They have lots of big productions, jazz, classical, comedy, etc. ... something for everyone. Regular prices are not bad either..they traditionally range from about $10 (far back) to $50 for the front row, and I think they may also vary between productions. There are art pieces throughout the Hall and the staff there is generally very nice. Overall a pleasant experience. Recommended.

I saw Billy Idol place here a few months ago and it was great. I loved the small, cozy feel of the theatre. I believe it only holds about 3000 people and every seat is a good seat. The sound/acoustics were also excellent and I didn't feel like I was going to go deaf. We were about half way back on the far end and it was still an excellent vantage point. I stopped going to the large venues years ago because I couldn't enjoy myself with the massive amounts of people, traffic, and bad seats. If any more acts I like come around, I hope they play here!

PROS: Small, intimate theater, great views from all areas
CONS: None

Over the years my husband and I have gone to Clearwater to see our favorite artists. They have many of the big stars performing here because of the capacity of the theater.

One fun show we saw was the older ladies doing the 'Rockets' show. It was a lot of fun.

Dinner is including with some of the shows. The best part of it was the dessert.

PROS: Live performances are so much better than television.
CONS: Food was average.
