What an amazing church! From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and at home. The messages are incredibly relevant and the music is inspirational and rocking at the same time. If you're bored with where you're at or stuck in your faith, Grace Family Church is a must visit. We love it.

These pastors are all lay-people. Not one of them has a seminary degree. How do they without any training do any counseling.? We make fun of the Mormons And Jehovah Witness because their ministers are laypeople. WHAT MAKES THESE MINISTERS ANY DIFFERENT? 2 churches one in the Midwest and 1 on the west coast have had their churches sued ( both were large with congregations close to 10,000) both have no money and the churches and ministers were found by the courts guilty for not being properly trained and degreed. This can be a disaster. What gives these ministers the right to be ministers? If they really wanted to be proper ministers wouldn't they get the proper degree? How do you tell what they tell you is right? They are no more degreed and don't know much more about Counseling or God Or The Bible than you do

I moved from NY seven years ago, and still very homesick but what keeps me going is my church. i love Grace so much and would never leave unless the lords wants me too. I trust Pastor Craig and his wife so much. They are just wonderful people and humble too. My children and husband are leaders in this church. They love and cherish all the learders and volunteers. They have a wonderful childrens ministery. Give it a try iam sure you'll love it too.

It has been several years and between 10 and 15 churches we have been to since we moved out of the area. We are no focusing on trying to get back to this church. We have never grown so much spiritually, seen the Holy Spirit at work or been part of a family like we were here. We found one church that comes in second here in PA, but it is miles behind. There is no church that meets every aspect of life and every walk of life as much as this one does. the men's groups are awesome, the woman's groups can not be out done and the children's programs are the best in the nation... The preaching is convicting, powerful, Holy Spirit lead and Craig is truly used by god to spread his word. I would fly in every weekend if I had the $. We miss GFC so much!!!

We've been bouncing around for a while, to different Christian churches for a couple years now.
When we walked in to the Sunday service, I was overwhelmed by the loud music and crowds. Then we found out that they have a more intimate service called The Blend, in another building there, at the same time, 9:30 am.
So we went over there and were so pleasantly surprised, we decided on the spot to stay at this church.
The church has so many activities for our kids, and that's another main reason for loving it there. My 10th grader who is an introvert finally wants to get involved in something... the youth group! Called io (it's on), they have worship at 6:44 pm on Sunday eves, then they break up in small groups.
My 6th grader goes to the youth group too for the middle schoolers, called 180 (do a 180 in your life...get it?),
my 4 year old is already learning verses and loves his class after just a month.
Then there's the Zone. A special place for them to hang out and have fun when they're not doing small groups or worship. Free video games, foosball, pool, basketball and a cafe all in a huge building.

We really like the Saturday eve 7pm service too. Afterwards, they have live music in the courtyard, dinner for sale (several options including lately Carraba's for sale!), pretty twinkle lights and umbrella tables, such a neat setting.

It's ALL good. The way he delivers the message, the props that they use, it makes it easy to listen, easy to learn and eager to learn.
The place is huge, but they really encourage you to get involved in small groups. These are people who have gatherings during the month at their own house and you are encouraged to go.
Our only issue is that we have small children and can't bring them to someone else's home. (rowdy 4 year old, clingy infant)

The church is awesome, and summer camp is coming up too - Already have my 10th grader signed up!
You have to come check this place out.
From a girl who grew up Catholic but left to become closer to The Lord, you will really find that opportunity here!

This ain't your grandma's church! It is an exciting and alive church. It has the best music, the best pastors (Pastor Craig Altman is awesome, and he has put together an amazing group of other pastors and staff) , the best children's ministries you could imagine, the best organization, and overall, the best atmosphere of any church I've ever been in, and definitely in this area. There isn't one negative thing I can say. I love this church! For years, I avoided "mega churches" like this one because I felt like they were too impersonal, and felt more like a business than a church. Grace Family Church has proven me wrong, and conquered my complete distaste for huge churches. You will love it! Your kids will love it! If you've never been to a church like this, I urge you to go...go...go!!! If you already know God and love God, OR, if you feel like you WANT to know God, OR you are just curious....OR, you are just looking for a great place to take your kids to church........wherever you're at....check it out! You won't be sorry, and you will definitely be blessed!

I attended for the first time on Sunday and only went (I don't attend church and actually am very skeptical of most organized religious gatherings) to keep a friend company. It was also her first time. This is the best "church" experience I've ever had. The "Zone" for kids, 2nd-5th grade, looked like an amusement park. The Pastor's message was very practical and definitely not a phoney preachy sermon. Starbucks capuccinos could be purchased at a discount and the kids had Papa Johns pizza and ice cream available for a nominal cost. Highly recommend you visit this church--you will be amazed at the beauty of the music and message.

PROS: Great music, atmosphere, kid resources
CONS: Music was a little loud.

I went to Grace Family Church today 9/29/06 for 2 reasons. One to pray for my beautiful mother who passed away on 3/8/85 because it was her birthday today. But the inside was closed when I got there and I did not realize I would not be able to go inside to pray as this was my first time there today. I went to the office on the 2nd floor to talk with someone. I met a lovely woman at the front desk, and I forget her name because as I tried to explain why I was there, I started to cry. I was not only there because of my Mom's birthday but also for my daughter Courtney. You see my daughter is having serious relationship problems right now, I am worried sick over her, day and night. My grandson, Isaiah, lives with my daughter also. I worry about them both. My daughter's so-called boyfriend is abusive, he has no job, no desire to get a job, and my daughter is stressed daily because of him. The woman at the desk called for another lady who came out and this lady, Im sorry I forgot her name also, I apologize, she took my name and my daughters and Isaiah's and said the would start a "prayer wheel" for them.I felt so much better when I left. My heart felt less heavy and I will be back talk with one of the Pastors' soon. I felt so welcomed and I thank both of these women dearly.I know the prayers are going to be answered for my daughter and my grandson very soon.

PROS: Close to my home
CONS: No cons

This church is the epitome of Family Friendly! They go out of their way to provide loving, nurturing environments for all ages. They are contemporary, but do not compromise the conservative nature of Evangelical Christianity. Pastor Craig Altman is dynamic and charismatic. The music is inspirational and uplifting. This church loves God!

This is a large family church on Van Dyke Rd. They treat all ages with love and respect. For the younger ones the hall way is decorated wonderful and they have water bottles and toys for the children when they leave. The older children as well have fun while learning the Word of God. The adults learn practicl loving every day living in the word. The praise and worship is wonderful.
