My boyfriend and I travel alot and we came upon Smokey Bones while in Orlando and hung around there for our stay of 2 months. We loved the service.The food was great. We really got hooked on the buffalo wings. But every dish I tried was good especially the bar-b-que. I just want to thank Smokey Bones bartenders for entertaining us. They were all great especially Rachel and Billy. Love you guys. Everywhere we go we try to look for a Smokey Bones. I was disappointed to find out that the one in Pensacola was closed.:(

Hair found in food TWICE on separate occasions!

A group of us always get together at Smokey Bones monthly, but lately our experiences has been uneventful! For the 2nd time in a row, hair has been in my food! This is totally unacceptable, but when I talked to the manager, he seem to think it was no big deal! I asked for a corporate number, but he just gave me the cell phone number of another manager that just happend to be working the same time we were there - what is that all about - what are they hiding? Needles to say, they lost the buisness of 8 reuglars! Oh, we were also told corporate no longer exist?

The Baby Back ribs are sooooo good! they fall off the bone. and very tasty too. The cornbread w/ pecan butter is a must! service was excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Portions are huge! Order were servced very quickly.
I am giving it 2 thumbs up!

BBQ ribs hard to swallow!

Absolutely would not recommend this place if you're looking to eat good bbq. I've been to 3 different Smokey Bones, and every time the ribs were horrible. Sauce is okay - but the meat is anything but near tender. Everything else on the menu is pretty much average compared to other sports dining bars. I have to say their donots are excellent, which would probably be better for them if they specialized in pastries.

Best joint to watch football

This place is the best to go and watch any football game that is played. You can watch the game of your choice, drink beer and eat food. My family, friends and I go because the team we like is not usually played on the TV stations here. Great atmosphere and a fantastic concept. Kodos to Darden restaurants.

Smokey Bones is an all-around great restaurant. Unlike many other sports bars, the servers here are actually nice and care about their customers! Not to mention the BBQ is DELICIOUS! Try the pulled pork - it melts in your mouth! And there is always enough to bring some home - which is a good thing!

Great BBQ - If you're from the North

This restaurant/bar is, at best, a sports bar with bad BBQ. I've eaten here 3 times, hoping it would get better but it hasn't. The brisket is bland and flavorless, the pulled pork tastes like it came out of a plastic bowl from the supermarket and the sauces have a weird flavor. The mustard sauce tastes like plastic-bottled sauce with mustard added and the sweet sauce tastes like some she-she fruit drink.
The only thing that comes close is the St. Louis ribs (back ribs are for sissies). If they didn't put the crappy sweet sauce on them they would be pretty good.
I've eaten at the Rendezvous, Corky's, Arthur Bryants, and about a hundred other places all over the country and I truly believe that Smokey Bone's sucks. If this is your idea of BBQ, please take your Yankee butt back North where you came from.

Great place--always a "must go to" when in Orlando area. Visit about 4 times per year. Wish we had one close to home in Ohio

The Real Thing

The baby back ribs are as good as any I've had. The BBQ snobs would have you believe otherwise. But I've had ribs in the best joints in Memphis, Austin, Dallas, and Kansas City, and Smokey Bones serves good ribs! Sure, there's no sawdust on the floor or smoke caked on the walls. But you're there for the food, right?
