Crystal River Seafood Rstrnt

I haven't been in a few weeks; however, I love to go in and get a drink from the bar with a buffalo gator tail appetizer. I have a hard time ordering with all the different appetizers. I have been to both stores and have had good service at both locations. Now that there is a bar at the Tenn/Ocala location I like to go to that store more. Food prices are great and even we I don't order a special. Would defiantly recommend.

After going into this restaurant and from time to time losing faces that our family was used to seeing, we can understand. But, a word of advice, when loyal customers ask about waiters, or managers, please don't bad mouth them to us. Just a "they are no longer with us" will do. It does not sit well professionally, and it only makes us wonder how much trash your restaurant talks about customers that they don't like. Please, remember the saying, "If you can't say anything nice" Just be friendly, speak positively. You never know when you might need it. The food is average, but this year I see a huge difference. Our parties have not been back.

What a shame that a restaurant that we have frequented for the past five years has become so unresponsive to customers. We waited and waited to be seated, with at least three wait-persons nodding in our direction. Each told us to "wait a minute" and they would try to find the hostess. (The hostess never appeared.) One said, "I don't know what has happened to her."
The restaurant used to be carpeted, family-friendly, with great seafood, but that was in the past. We got tired of waiting and went somewhere else for pizza.

My dad and I will go up to Crystal River Seafood everytime he comes into town. It is never over crowed, never many college students, and generally quiet. Also the seafood is pretty good and prices decent.

We had to send my wife's shrimp back because it was under cooked. When I pointed out that we paid $2 more for 20 shrimp than for the 9.99 special for 30 shrimp and that I was disappointed in having to send my wife's food back, manager simply pointed out to me that I knew the price for the twenty and said didn't they redo our order. Basically, tough luck! I was only asking to adjust my bill for the difference between 20 and 30 shrimp. For $2 this establishment lost me as a return customer. No one should have to sit while their food gets cold to wait for a member of their party to have their meal recooked and not be compensated for their inconvenience. Shame on Crystal River Seafood! I would have done better at Red Lobster!

They do fried shrimp in a way that makes the south proud!!! lol.
I prefer the one on Monroe St. to the one on Tennessee street- the smell & quality seems better if that's possible.
Great deal for the money & quality.
Only 2 seafood places in town do fried shrimp right- this is one!

Always good quality at this Crystal River. The food is always fresh and hot. The portions are huge! Ask for a box and take half of your entree home for lunch next day. One waitress there is top notch! forgot her name sorry.
