I am currently renting with Stringer Management. Any person I have spoken with at the company has been very professional and courteous. Service technicians have been reliable and professional as well. I had a problem with the A/C last summer. They let me deduct money from the rent until the problem was solved. Tanya is amazing. She even called me while she was vacation to follow up on a situation. Highly recommend!!.

Don't use them as your property management company, and do NOT rent property through them. I am an attorney and will be filing a law suit. They arbitrarily keep your security deposit and make up items that need to be repaired. You will be charged ridiculous fees for items in disrepair in the home PRIOR to you taking occupancy. The carpet was not cleaned when we moved in and the yard was full of garbage, overgrown weeds, grass and shrubbery. WE CLEANED IT UP and were then charged a lawn maintenance fee when we ended our lease. Robin Debusk was the most unprofessional, rude, and unhelpful individual I have ever dealt with in my 10 years of renting. She laughed when I called to complain about the amounts taken from our deposit and told me "well, there is nothing you can do now!"

I have never had any amounts taken from a security deposit and Stringer Management kept all of the deposit but $46.00.

We have filed a written objection to the arbitrary (and with no documentation) amounts withheld from the security deposit. I will proceed with filing a law suit if this is not rectified by Stringer Management.

Please listen to all of the bad reviews -- not all of these people are making up issues. It goes a long way when this many customers are unhappy.

Save yourself the trouble, time, and money --- hire a better management company.

STAY AWAY from them, poor services, poor management... nerver call you back, nerver give you updates, they charge you big money even don't tell you, unprofessional, unresponsible, cannot list enough. Nightmare with DS! They are worst agents that I have ever seen.

Adam, I wanted to touch base with you based on your Review about Stringer Management back in August 2013. Unfortunately, the property you we're renting went thru several changes within their organization which left all of the tenants to be relocated prior to the property being sold. Stringer Management doesn't have any control over an investors decision when it comes time for them to sell their property. I know this wasn't an easy transition and you we're upset with having to relocate, but the sale of the property was beyond our control along with inspections of the units and having to pack and relocate to another rental in Sarasota is never an easy transition. We wish you the very best in the future.

Horribly run company I should have listened to other review where they warned me they would take my money and do nothing with it! So dissappointed in my experience with this company especially Tonya. Please learn from my experience and do not use them.

Dotty, I am truly sorry that you had a bad experience with our firm. Stringer Management has gone thru many positive changes over the past years. Although I can't fix what occurred in the past, I can clarify that it's mandatory that all of our vendors are licensed and insured to work on our owner's properties. Our management agreement calls for the property manager to make repairs on an owner's property up to a certain dollar limit. Our property managers receive their Rent Roll by the 5th of Each Month and start calling tenants in regards to rent or posting 3 day notices. I wish you the very best in the future and I do hope that you might re-consider using our services in the future. We recently moved to Sarasota and rented an apartment through Stringer Management. Before moving in, our Property Manager, Robin, made sure the house was clean and ready for our move. Not only was the inside of the apartment clean, but she also had the outside of the building, lanai & carport pressure washed.
When I contacted her to let her know the washer & dryer weren't working properly, she had new units in within a couple of days.
All contact has been wonderful and all concerns have been addressed promptly.
I would highly recommend Stringer to all my friends.
