For dinner i had a 1.15 lb hog snapper grilled filet weighed in front of me for $10.49 with 2 sides, i also selected the fish myself from their market on site. Our group consisted of 9 people and the total bill was <$100 including tax the tip was extra of course and we left 25%. Anywhere else we had gone for a comparable dinner would have been easily over $200. If you do not speak spanish do not worry you can point to the item on the menu as 1 other reviewer said. The marlin they are usually out of but ask anyway when u go.

Pros: pricing, fresh seafood, quick-kind service, parking

Cons: older building

This is a small place in a corner. It has very good seafood, but the steak is very salty. I do recommend getting fish or seafood dishes. I really enjoyed eating their and I would like to go back somtime.

We stop here to both eat, and pick up fresh fish to cook at home. Every time we stop in, I am delighted. I have had several different fish dinners here, but my favorite is the orange roughy. I think they have it flown in, as I don't think it lives off the Miami coast. Where ever they get it, it is fresh, cooked just right. The prices are fair and the waitresses are always fast and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

This is a simple seafood restaurant with nautical decor. They have their own seafood market inside, fresh fish on ice by the counter ready to be picked by you. It reminds me of seaside restaurants in the islands except there is no waves or water and you're by Ludlam Rd in the middle of Miami. Prices are very reasonable. You can have a dozen freshly shucked oysters or two and not break the bank. A whole fried snapper is less than $6.00 and a lobster thermidor for $14.95. Get the crabmeat croquettes or fried fish roe if eating raw oyster does not appeal to you. Been there several times and I always leave satisfied with enough change in my pocket for an after meal cafecito.

Fresh fish decently prepared at an amazing price. The service can be slow and spotty but the food is consistent. Forget English. It is rarely spoken or understood. Don't worry about it. Point to menu items and enjoy. Where else can you get a fresh snapper fillet and sides for six bucks?
