5 Stars: J & J Farms is GREAT (by Tony P.)

J & J Farms always has great friendly service, the food is fresh, the prices are usually lower than anywhere else, and it's very convenient to shop there.

5 Stars: The Hippie in me (by Captain Jeff M.)

To the J & J Farms family that runs the shop...I found an awesome site called thedailygreen.com
that allows you to put in your zip code and search for local farms, green markets & recycling centers. Did not see J&J Farms on the site. Would love to see you on there.

The hippie in me found J&J Farms. I went completely vegetarian a year and a half ago, damn close to vegan.
Though it is a bit of a drive for me, I try to buy all my fresh veggie/fruit products, even bread only from J&J.

Its a win-win situation all around, minimal transportation so we reduce the carbon emmissions and our carbon footprint, support our local farmers and support the J&J family, who are some of the nicest people you will meet. Every time I go the son and mother (sorry i dont know your names, i will ask next time) are so helpful and personable. I love the feeling of feeling like family. Thats how I feel when I leave there every time.

I am a 20 something year old male and have attempted to turn my 'hippy' friends on to them. I have NEVER not been able to find the veggies/fruits that I want/need at J&J in good, fresh state.

I go above and beyond my duty of obtaining a sustainable environment/earth. I cautiously think of 'Greener' ways to accomplish almost everything in life. Its so simple. Common sense.
It's little things like this (supporing local companies/families) that make a big difference.

I would love to see a younger, hippy-like generation such as myself to frequent J&J Farms. Bring back that downhome feeling I remember when I was growing up. Like I said, its a win-win situation all around
