I signed a 2 year contract that clearly and specifically did not allow auto-renewal. At the end of the term they continued billing me. Calls and letters to the club fell on deaf ears and they made me deal with their billing company who refuses to honor the contract and issue me a refund.

Their equipment is dirty. Their locker rooms are run-down and not well maintained. Their trainers are vulture-like beings who hound you relentlessly for pay. And the only good licensed massage therapists and hair stylists are gone.

Do not trust these people. They are lying, cheating thieves as evidenced by their absolute refusal to refund $160 I am rightly owed.

I have a contract with these people and it expired months ago but they kept billing me. On close review of the contract, the section allowing them to auto-renew on a monthly basis was not selected and yet they auto-renewed anyways. The club ownership doesn't care as they won't even give me the time of day. They let their business be run by some billing company which continued to bill me and refuses to refund me for the unlawfully acquired monthly fees post-expiration. Attempts to resolve with the club management falls on deaf ears.

The club itself has nasty, dirty equipment. The locker room facilities are poorly maintained. The so-called "trainers" there are vulture-like beings who won't leave you alone.

I used to enjoy massages there but they got rid of the only really good LMT they had. The same is true of the salon--the only stylists left are rank amateurs.

And the whole place is run by lying, cheating thieves who don't give a darn (the worst word I can find that will pass the filter on this site) about it's customers.

Stay away from this place. You're better off at a club like LA Fitness where at least your membership is governed by actual rules and a real company.

Pros: They used to have a good massage therapist

Cons: They don't honor contract terms

I'll just keep it to myself thanks.

I would not recommend this health club to ANYONE. My husband and I were members there and hated it. The equipment is not kept clean, which is funny because they have signs up all over stating how important cleanliness is to them. My husband purchased a gift certificate for a massage from the spa as a gift for me (I really wish he had purchased it from somewhere else). I tried to call and schedule an appointment four times and couldn't even speak to someone that could look at the scheduling book. When I complained about this issue and asked for our money back, they couldn't have cared less and refused to give us our money back citing a policy that they do not refund gift certificates...even though my husband was never informed of this and it is not written on the certificate. We are now in the process of filing a civil suit agains them to get out money back. Crazy I know, but at this point it is the principle of the matter, and honestly I hate this facility and the treatment that we have received from one of the owners so much that I am willing to spend the money to take them to court. Your money, like ours, is better spent elsewhere.

I received a postcard in the mail on membership rates. I thought this ad was too good to be true. My husband and I check out the facility and the person helping us was a very happy non-aggressive salesperson that you generally see. We went home to think about it. Well as a surprise my husband gave me a gift certificate to the spa for my birthday. I was a bit nervous since I have never been to a spa before. The night before the spa called my house and left a message that I needed to arrive 15 minutes early because I need to do some paperwork since I am a new client. (I think it might be a state law). I arrived early and was greeted with excellant customer service. I was told where I needed to go. The spa is on the 2nd floor. When I got to the 2nd floor I was greeted by the spa attendant in which she show me where the sauna & steam room was. Well off to the serives I go. All I can say is "Oh, my GOD!' What an awesome feeling. I got a swedish massage, a facial, and a manicure & pedicure. Everyone that help me was so helpful. I went home told my hubby what a great time I had. Guess what, he bought us both a gym membership and it's been about 3 weeks since I've started. I've lost 6 pounds. The gym gave me a free 1 hour session with a trainer, and that came in handy. You have the option also to hire a trainer but in the 3 weeks since I've been here. All of the staff is so helpful. Especially the trainers. I ask for help and get it but was never push or con into buying training. I can appreciate it since I am a soft spoken women. If you ask me how it was I would say this place is awesome

My experience there wasn't bad but could have been a lot better. I got a gift certificate for a "full hour massage, a french manicure and spa pedicure" worth $200 plus the gratuity. The first mistake, the spa person that wrote the certificate wrote french in front of the manicure only, not the pedicure. But the person that gave me the GC did pay for french spa pedicure.
I only got a 40ish minute massage since when I got to the spa, the front desk wasted my time by having me fill out a form, asked me questions, traded my car keys for a locker room key, gave me instructions on where to go, then meeting with the masseuse and changing my clothes. Then after the massage was done (since I missed some time, as she said) I went with the nail technician who then said the GC didn't include french nails and they were $5 extra each (hands and feet). I told her I was very sure that the GC said french. She called the front desk, where they told her that the computer said otherwise. So ok, I asked the tech to do french and I would pay the difference.
When it was all done, I went to the front desk to check out. I asked the receptionist to let me see my GC and that's when I told her that I knew it said french. She then realized of the mistake but kept sustaining it was for manicure only. I wondered why would anyone buy french for one set only. It didn't make sense but I still paid for the difference.
The spa should definitely improve their customer service skills. Pay attention to avoid mistakes and inform clients they should arrive with at least 15 minutes before their appointment so they get their service in full.

usually when you go to a gym there is someone that works there walking around making sure you are ok. well, here all there help(unless you paid extra for)are sitting at a desk talking. This place has a large selection of equipment which is a plus and that is why I gave it a 3 star for the equipment.

PROS: large assortment of equipment
CONS: staff too busy talking to each other instead of taking care of clients
