I never felt pressured, rushed, or uncomfortable. I cannot express my satisfaction with the amazing and EXCELLENT service provided by all of the staff, my wonderful new vehicle, and the entire experience. Their Customer Service is unmatched, their prices are fair, and their product is the definition quality! I strongly urge anyone that wants a sincere and enjoyable experience to go to Duval Honda!

I bought an Accord from them and the transmission died every 50,000 miles. After needing to replace it for the second time they told me that I needed to pay for it and that I bought a lemon from them, all the while acting like complete jerks. They then told me to buy a new car from them, they just told me I bought a lemon from them and then thought that this awesome selling point would want me to purchase another car from them? These rednecks think that they're doing you a favor by going to they're service department. If these rednecks had to get a job outside of Jacksonville they would be homeless. AVOID THIS PLACE big time, they don??t want your business. In the end I traded in my accord for a new a Prius from Coggin Toyota.

I called the dealership to ask if they had an Insight on the lot, that we could test drive.

Tony answered the phone and said let me check. After a moment on hold, he said that they have some on the lot.

Later I made the drive down

I bought my Honda Civic EX coupe new from this dealer in 2009 FTP a great salesman who is no longer here. Unfortunately when I returned I was not met with the same respect and honesty. I was looking to sell my car back to this dealer after receiving several calls and flyers in the mail offering up to $16K for it. The salesman and the floor manager came back with an offer of $7500...this car is in excellent condition and the Kelley blue book is over $15. Go look it up! They told me it is an undesirable car and retailed at 16,000 brand new...did they forget they sold this car? Did they forget that I know what it retailed at when I bought it new?? Do they think I am stupid and will believe that Honda civic's are undesirable?? Isn't that there best selling car? Wow I sat in disbelief. I didn't even wait to see if they could do better..what an insult and lack of skill

We had a great experience at Duval Honda. We showed up a half hour before closing on the 4th of July to look at an Odyssey. The salesman was very patient, never rushed us and was clever enough to bring keys to several Odysseys in case we wanted to see more than one. We got a fair price for our trade in and they didn't bat an eye at my three noisy children. We bought the car and had to return the next day to finish the paperwork. Every single person we had contact with was extremely polite and helpful. BTW, for people complaining about the extra fees-thats a common practice across large dealerships and to be expected regardless of where you go.

I was quoted a price on a vehicle, brought in a cashiers check to purchase the vehicle, and was told there was a mistake and they had quoted me the wrong price. They then asked for an extra $400 and refused to sell me the car for the quoted price.

BAD SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT DUVAL HONDA!!!

The first time I went to Duval Honda I had a new water pump and timing belt installed. I gave the service manager permission to replace any belts and hoses necessary. The day after my repair the water pump stopped working, the car overheated, and I was left on the roadside. I still wound up paying over $800 total and was without my car for two days in a row.

The second time I went to Duval Honda it took them an hour to change my oil, they removed and tried to sell me new cabin filters, and THEY STRIPPED THE OIL PLUG!!! I saw the service manager working under my car with the tech which prompted me later to ask him if there was a problem. The service manager later walked me to checkout and still didn't tell me anything about it... I had to ask him directly if they stripped the oil plug. He then said it could have been from before. I advised him Duval Honda was the last place I had my oil change so either they did it or neglected to tell me that there was a problem last time.

Please shop prices and hold this dealership accountable for any and all service. I am very disappointed and feel taken advantage of by Duval Honda. Needless to say, I will not be returning and do not recommend this dealer for any service or sales.

Terrible experience with this dealership, STAY AWAY, THESE PEOPLE ARE DISHONEST AND UNETHICAL. We were lied to and misled and money was taken out of our account without authorization, but then they lied about that too. Please go to any other dealership but this one. We ended up paying way too much for our car because of the lies.

The salesperson was dishonest. I asked him for an out the door quote for a 4WD Honda Pilot and he wrote me back stating that he had an OTD quote for a 4wd. After a week of negotiating with him, he kept pressuring me to buy. When I came back to finalize the deal NOT only did he go up on the OTD quote, but he was actually pricing a 2WD. Luckily I had left a paper trail. I'm going to report him to his general manager and then to the American Honda Motor Company.

I purchase a Honda civic from them 5/2008 my sales rep previously sold me a sentra to build up my credit in 2004. So of course when i paid that car off I went back to get another car . He really talked me in the car. He assured me that he was giving me the cheapest price of about 18,000. But not even a week later I seen it about 15,000 and he wouldn't do anything about it. I was so disappointed I wouldn't advise no one to go there.

Duval Honda preaches that they will give you their "One Price", but it is a lie.

I was gathering quotes from the various dealers in town, and I liked the idea that Duval Honda would give you a competitive price from the start and no negotiating would be necessary. The price I received was decent, above the Edmunds TMV (True Market Value) by a couple of hundred, but I was willing to forgive that. What I couldn't forgive was the "padding" that they added on the back end of the deal, where they charge $99 in "dealer's fees" and $499 in "document fees"!! All of this for a vehicle that has an MSRP less than $17,000.

My advice, don't mess with these turkeys, you'd have a more honest experience with a used car salesman.

We bought our car on 06/22/08 - Honda Civic ... it was there ready to go, we just wanted the basic. The salesman was awesome (who is no longer there) but the Finance guy tried to sell me on all this extra crap, he was really pushy and I didn't like that. I was approved at one rate, then he calls me 3 days later and said I had a higher payment now because he couldn't get me approved. What? I was confused. So I told his feminine self that I did NOT want to finance through them as I could get a lower finance rate through Community First Credit Union, which is exactly what I did. Be straight forward with the finance guy so he doesn't waste your time. I found him very annoying.

My husband and I were shopping for a Honda Pilot this weekend - ready to buy - and comparing prices. Duval Honda was the first dealership we went to in our search. A polite salesperson met us when we arrived at the dealer and showed us three vehicles detailing differences, pricing, etc. We asked him to write the make of the car and price on his card, which he did -- so that we wouldn't forget details as we shopped. After looking at several cars, we went into the sales room to discuss one of the cars in more detail, trade in value of our car, etc.
The salesman excused himself to go and talk to the floor manager and returned with a young man (Up until this point, it had been a pleasant experience.), who asked us if we were really interested in buying a car. My husband said "yes, that's why we're here" - (sort of a strange question, wouldn't you think?) He went on to ask us if we were going to another dealer to compare his prices. My husband said "yes - you are the first dealer we have been to in starting our search." The Floor Manager indicated he did not want our business if we were shopping prices! My husband tried to explain that when you buy a house you don't buy the first one you come to - you look around - same thing with a car - it's a major purchase -- the manager was very rude to us in both his attitude and his words and again said he did not want our business if we were shopping prices.
Now, that's a first!! We were floored, dumbfounded and confused that a sales manager would turn away a customer and in turn create ill will with future customers. My husband and I are both professionals in this community and know how important it is to build good relationships in order to be a successful business.
Of course, we left Duval Honda -- and two hours later bought a Honda Pilot at Lucas Honda -- (which was a great experience and quite different from the short and unhappy experience we had at Duval Honda.)
Duval Honda must have more customers than they need - which is good because we most definitely won't be back and when we pass on this crazy story to our friends and relatives, they probably won't be going there either.

-Questionable pricing policy ($499 "dealer fee" added to every vehicle on top of MSRP and destination & handling fees); tried to claim such markups were necessary for them to turn a profit (as if the MSRP doesn't have built-in profit), etc. They added this fee a week after we signed a purchase agreement (it took a week for them to get the car after promising us it would be there within 48 hours) that DIDN'T contain it after we told them we weren't going to pay it. Mind you, the purchase agreement already contained a $600 markup over MSRP + dest. & handling (we decided the $600 markup was fair since they had to find the car at another dealership and have it transported, and basically wouldn't budge any more on the asking price). Keep in mind this was all for a car that stickered at $15,940

-Shady finance department (tried to pass a longer term loan at a higher APR than we qualified for, listed the mileage as much much lower than actual vehicle mileage at the time of sale on the bill of sale, etc.).

Basically, watch your back and make sure to read everything twice before signing anything if you choose to do business with them.

I, for one, won't ever make that mistake again.

Pros: None

Cons: Shady pricing policies, incompetent finance dept.

Duval Honda is how all the other dealerships should be. They work with you and you can land a fair deal. I bought on a Monday and drove out after about an hour and a half. I got the price I wanted with my trade-in.

PROS: Can work a fair deal for both parties.
CONS: Is far from Orange Park, where I live.

I bought my new honda accord from this dealership and was very impressed with their pricing and their salesmen. They are very friendly, not high pressure and have a huge selection as opposed to other honda dealerships in the area. I definitely recommend you check out this dealership if you are in the market for a Honda.

Good service and not alot of pressure. Honda's virtually sell themselves so its good not to have to worry about pressure from a salesperson.

Duval Honda recently relocated across the street from their old residence, and upgraded as well. This dealership is one of the largest in Jacksonville, and one of the prettiest. They have the area very well lit and easy access to the dealership. They have a very helpful and friendly staff.
The dealership is very large, with a good stock of new and used vehicles.

PROS: Great place to buy a car.
CONS: Busy street location.
