I live fairly close to the Bravo on 78th and Causeway.. I got one huge culture shock as I just moved to Tampa and didn't realize what this Bravo was. I couldn't find a single employee that spoke English. They refused to take my credit card, which I speak some Spanish and still couldn't understand why they wouldn't take my card as it said on the door they took Visa. The store was absolutely disgusting and it smelled horrible in there. I will never go back. I'll stick to walmart, publix or target in Brandon for groceries.

I shop at the Bravo Supermarket located on the Causeway and 78th St. intersection, and I found it to be very affordable when it comes to buying meats. The meat manager, (Vado is his name), is very friendly and will help you in whatever cut or special order you may need. The only downside to the store is the fact that it specifically caters to the hispanic community and there seems to be no intention to address the local domestic community's need for someone a little more adept in the local language. Overall I would rate it 8 of 10. The only other downside is it is VERY COLD in the refrigerated department of the store, so be forewarned.
