I was recently given Corbetts name by a friend after I had another company come out and try to fix my refrigerator. The first company could not repair and would not come back, so I called Corbetts and was greeted on the phone with women who was very helpful,They sent out Bob the next day who I found to be very knowledgable on the Samsung ref, after ordering a part and replacing it refrigerator has been working great since, He was very helpful and communicated the problem to me and the solution. I would highly recommend this company

My dryer has been making a very loud scraping noise and I contacted my property manager over the issue. They let me know it was under warranty and someone would be contacting me about when to come out. I got a call saying they were on there way to my home, but had NO idea they were planning on coming out this day. Bob from Corbett Appliance was somewhat rude when I was talking to him on the phone even though he was the one calling with no notice. Bob didn't really say anything rude but certainly had gotten an attitude. I talked to my mom who said she would run over to my home and let them in. Bob entered my home where he started filling out some paperwork, my mom just mentioned to him sometimes it takes about 10-30 minutes for the dryer to make the noise in case he wanted to go ahead and start it. Bob very rudely and condescendingly said "I need to do this first!!!!". She said I'm not trying to rush you, just fyi. He continued to be rude and condescending whie he was there. I contacted my property manager to let her know about him and she too said that the company had been rude when she talked with them. She would prefer not to use them but she has to due to warranty work. In just a few interactions this guy has pissed off a lot of people. At the condominium I work, I will be sure we don't use this company here either.

I have no answer for this review other than to say I have had a long talk with Bob to make sure this does not happen again, But what I am most upset about is a customer that does not have the forth right to call us and tell us so we can take care of, but believes its best to just put it out on the internet. The decent thing to have done was call me the owner (Pat Hupp) and let me know what happened. I take pride in our business and at least knowing we are trying to do the right thing. All we ask is that the customer call us to correct it. Thanks for reading, most business will never respond to these type reviews, We at Corbetts will always make an effort to make it right.

Overall, my experience with service repair was excellent. I located them online after searching for a Maytag microwave certified repair company. Maytag offered to provide free parts with the caveat that I use one of their certified repairman that covers the Pensacola area.
"Great!" said I, so, I called. The service and repair cost would be, gulp, "$130!" Woa, says I, "Why so high?"
"In case we need to make two trips."
You think I'm kiddin'? It's da truth, so help me. That size extortion is fightin' words. So, using me savvy to step over the barrell of bogna, I called locally first. I found a long time reputable non-certified appliance repair who would assess for 18 bucks! I figured, "If'n I get lucky, it'll be a cheap fix and anything under $130 is a steal. "Sorry," says they. "It's the transformer...$150 buckolas. Yer lookin' at a total of $200 clams to do a transplant." Ouch already. I collected the patient and carted it home.
Corbetts Appliance? Pat called me back. "Pat, here's the deal..." I unfolded the sordid story of my fairly new $350, shortly out of warranty, stainless steel microwave that did everything but microwave.
"My friend, we don't travel that far but if you bring it this way, I'll put it back in working order for about $40. I doubt that it is the transformer."
Pat instructed me to obtain my part's authoriztion number from Maytag (whose friendly CSR yielded the magic number). Pat replaced the magnetron and it now does what it does but only better than it ever did before! Mucho gracias, mi Corbettos amigos. Much thanks to Maytag that provided the part. I can't speak about inhome but if your haul them a crippled appliance that can be repaired, they can put it right!

We have used Corbetts for a better part of 15 years always reliable and prompt. Technicians always are very courteous and know the appliances they work on and would highly recommend this company. Today appliances are difficult to repair and its hard to make everyone happy

we had our fisher paykel dryer looked at by another company and all they did was spray wd40 on it and it just got worse. We called Corbetts they came out replaced bearing assy runs like new now very good company to do business with and will use them again when the need arises also very helpful on the phone.

Recently had a company out that was unable to fix my washer, Called Home Depot and they recommended Corbetts. Called Corbetts and set up a call to come and look at our washer, they were very polite on the phone and the technician did a great job fixing my washer, not sure about some negative reviews but I understand sometime you just can't make everybody happy. My dealings with Corbetts were great, will recommend them to my friends.

I have to agree with Margaret. I just got off the phone with this company and I am "taken aback" as W.S. says at how this company can be so rude on the phone and stay in business. It has been a full week since they came to my place and I haven't heard from them at all so I called to let them know that we are coming up on 2 weeks since my washer died...the man acted like I was being an impatient "B." And Margaret wasn't lying about them showing up unexpected! I had a Wednesday appt and they showed up Tuesday morning! Use this company if you have no other option.

It has been a full week since they came to my place and I haven't heard from them at all so I called to let them know that we are coming up on 2 weeks since my washer died...the man acted like I was being an impatient "B." This is not true. We strive to make every customer happy. There are times when customers need quick service and ask for us to try to get to them earlier and if we get a cancellation or are in the neighborhood, we might stop by to try and repair their item earlier then scheduled, but if not home we will be back on scheduled day. The response we received from customers for coming earlier is thank you for getting here a day earlier I had lots of clothes to wash or yeah I thought I was going to loose all my food, etc. We apologize for you feeling the way you do and apologize for any rudeness on our part. We also would have appreciated you contacting the manager or owner with any problem so that it can be resolved. Being a small family owned business, we greatly appreciate the opportunity to make it right.

I went to this website tonight simply to find out what kind of appliances these guys work on besides the Sharp microwave oven they fixed for me today. I was taken aback to read about the other person's negative experience, and I can't pass judgment on that. But the reason I was wanting to find out what else they work on is because this Sharp repair was, hands down, the best repair experience I've ever had. Turntable wasn't working. I had no paperwork.Less than two hours after dropping off my microwave I got a call from them, telling me it was already fixed and telling me they saw that it had a metal plate showing the date of manufacture as being about six months ago which, they said, meant that the repair was covered by warranty (even though I had no proof of purchase) at no charge to me. I guess it's possible that I got lucky, but I am more than willing to give these folks another crack at my business the next time the need arises..

Called them to repair fridge took 2 weeks to get parts....finally showed up unannounced on a Saturday when I wasn't even home. After "repairing" he left and $300.00 later fridge is still broke. They were very nasty when I called them to tell them about the problem.

I am not impressed with this company. I would not recommend this company to absolutely anyone. If you want good customer service, go elsewhere. Just not a good experience and it's not even over yet.
