I was a big fan of Stuart Fine Foods and was expecting to be just as happy with Milam's. I am not. I just had lamb chops that I bought there on sale yesterday and they were just awful -- very tough. This is the second time this has happened. My husband loves ciabatta rolls but he has told me not to buy them there anymore. Now today he complained about the hogie rolls I bought yesterday. I don't expect to go back again.

I was in Stuart Fine Foods just about every day before Joe opened PC store and always said they were my "live out cooks". Since I live and work on E Ocean I tried to shop at Milams, however, I got sick every time, plus they fell far below deli item quality, i.e., Joe had the best chili - Milams pathetic & watery. I have also noticed that the new bosses are mean to employees as well as unfriendly to customers who they must know might very well be poisoned by their questionable products. I do not think the one star is deserved. MLF

I have also given this establishment numerous chances. The last straw was yesterday. I purchased a frozen bag of Bell & Evans Pesto Chicken to prepare for my daughter's dinner. When I got home to cook it I realized the expiration date was over EIGHT (8) months PAST DUE!!! The incident before then was yogurt THREE weeks past the date of expiry, and before then it was outdated rice milk.

Quality control is extremely poor. I will no longer patronize this establishment.

My fiance and I have given this store several chances and each time we have been extremely disappointed with their quality of food- which they always seem to put on sale!! I purchased steaks on sale there and the sell-by date it had was good, still had a couple of days to go. I got home and the next day went to cook them, the side that you could not see in the plastic packaging was BROWN!!! pure ugly brown!! and it smelled bad. i returned it to the store and the Assistant manager, an older lady, did not seem to care in the least! I was very disturbed because the meat was not out-dated but the quality was horrible. Also, I was newly pregnant and God forbid I ate that meat! More recently, my fiance bought eggs from Milam's, which turned out to be the strangest, most disgusting looking egg we'd ever seen. The yolk from an egg was gell-like and looked half-cooked already. definitely not edible!! So we threw them out and got new eggs from Publix. Then, yesterday, my fiance, who is an avid crab leg eater, bought crab legs on sale (Reg flag in itself if you are shopping at Milam's!!!) which smelled odd and had a slimy texture and appearance after he had cooked it. He actually got sick later and threw up. This is the last time we will ever shop at Milam's and I will be filing several complaints with various departments regarding this lousy excuse for a grocery store. Their quality and safety of food has proven to be less than sufficient. Be careful when you shop here!!! We would never buy food here again!

Meat has fallen to Commercial Grade with a Black Angus Sticker. Non edible fried chicken in box so you can't see. Bakery was always below Publix Quality. You have managed to take a goumet market to one step above ghetto grade. Never thought I would be shopping at Publix on Hutchinson Island but glad for the change. Put two of your product in Garbage Can, Steak and Fried Chicken will not buy these products from you again...
