Well, let me start on a positive. Great coffee. From there it goes downhill. Very VERY slow service, although the waitress was quite friendly and super nice. The tables appeared clean, but floor was utterly filthy, the waitress moved

We walked in and it looked like a typical diner, nothing gourmet about it but fine, we sat down. They had anything from pasta, to Kosher Jewish food, to seafood, to sandwiches, to French food, American, and a variety of salads. \r

My gut feeling always said to never enter this metal contraption but my adoreable girlfriend insisted that we must as she is a huge diner fan. It turns out we were bamboozled. I couldn't believe my eyes! I perused the menu several times

Without doubt the worst dining experience my family have encountered for many a year, not 1 awful meal but 5,tied in first place was the reheated roast chicken and the fried chicken that was roasted sometime many days previous floured and thrown in the fryer until hot and hard, what really annoys you with a lazy chef is that on the menu it clearly states all food is freshly prepared and please be patient !!!!! this should clearly read all food is reheated and will be with you in record time.
Oh and finally $18.50 for reheated chicken they really should be ashamed of themselves when the family can dine at P.F Changs down the road for far less money and outstanding quality.

Pros: none
Cons: food-price
I have been to this restaurant a few times and try something new each time. I have never been let down as everything has been enjoyable. It has a higher end menu even though it is a diner. The staff has always been nice, even remembering me on my first return trip. If you are looking for some good food, without the stuck up atmosphere, try this place.

Pros: Staff is friendly, service is good, food is good
Cons: pricey for lunch
Never tried this diner before. Went in for early dinner and place was empty. Took 45 minutes for soup course (french onion which the cheese was burnt). Took another 20 minutes for entree was was filet serve with scalloped potatoes which was not edible. No refills offered on beverages nor did waiter every ask how the food was.
Wait staff did not seem to be interested in serving customers only refilling the supplies. Highly recommend avoiding this resaurant if you can call it a restaurant.

An ordinary diner this is NOT! Moreso a French Bistro inside a 1950's Diner Car. You will not find burgers, fries, or milkshakes, instead, you'll find fine wine, and an even finer menu. Shrimp and scallops sauted with tomato, lemon and garlic, veal piccatta, oso buco and even escargot. Whatever you order, you are sure to totally enjoy and savor, because every bite is absolutely delicious. The service is as impeccable as the food. Our only comment on the down side was the chocolate mousse cake....the cake part was a little dry, but the mousse was out of this world. their prices are those of a french bistro, but are well worth what you get in return.
So...if you enjoy fine dining, great service and so much more, you will love the "Gourmet Diner." Don't let the outside fool you, what is inside is out of this world!

We were so disappointed. Read Herald reveiw that said it was good french food. Big disappointment. Bland food with no imagination. Sorely needse redecorating and general sprucing up. Food was not worth finishing. With any luck new owners will come in and clean up the place. If so, we'll be back.

Cons: boring food, needs cleaning up
