The camps Ranger is the 1 redeeming factor of this place he is a genuinely nice guy looking to do the right thing. Beyond him I find it difficult to say anything nice about the place they rent out the site to private parties regularly and I had reserved it about a year ago for my upcoming wedding. everything was going great they took my money said i had the place blah blah blah. A month before the wedding i find i won't need some of the facilities as my guests wouldn't be using so i ask if this would be ok. The answer was basically, sure oh and by the way you can't have the site for your rehearsal we aren't going to be open that day. Well i had contract...no worries we will just ignore you and not honor it. I had to contact the national board just to open a dialogue with the locals even then they were actively hostile and attempted to intimidate me. I love the girl scouts and honestly the national group represented well but i would strongly suggest rethinking dealing with these local greedy thugs as they do not uphold the ideals of the group at large... to be fair i did finally manage to get the day back but it took 3 weeks of constant contacts to get them to simply switch a guys day off (which they then told me he had long ago volunteered to do... they were being the pains solely because they could be). there is much more to this story but they site was not as originally promised and the higher staff are.... skeevy at best. Handle at your own risk!

I attended Camp for All Seasons for 5 years and was a camp counselor there for 2. The Camp is affiliated with the Girlscouts of America, but they run summer programs for all girls from elementary thru high school. They also host many Girl Scout functions and activities throughout the year, and often invite friends of Scouts to attend. The camp is located on Lake Talquin off of the Blounstown Hwy. and offers a variety of activities from canoeing to horseback riding. They have a large swimming pool and a large lodge and often take campers on excursions to the Panama City camp on the Gulf. There are a variety of summer camp packages that incorporate different expereinces for different age-groups, from cabin to more rustic tent lodging - there is an experience for every kind of girl. CFAS offers young girls an opportunity to get close to nature, develop longlasting friendships, and nurture a sense of independence. The majority of the counselors are former campers (High School and College Students) who both comfort the girl's fears about being away from home and push them to experience all that the Camp has to offer. I look back fondly on my years at CFAS and with the Girl Scouts in general, and look foward to finding similar experiences for my children in the future.
