They include free wi-fi, mini bars, cable TV, and king and double hotel rooms are available with vistas as well. Miami travel agents can use their website to help build their clients' dream vacation, and for those ready to indulge in the shopping, night clubs and entertainment of the city, passes and a conveniently located hotel are true perks. The Beacon Hotel offers hotel packages, discounts and easy online reservations. With continental breakfast, valet parking and of course, the beauty of the beach, why choose anywhere else when looking for a Miami hotel other than the Beacon Hotel in South Beach.
1st visit to South Beach...if you get lucky you can find a space to pull your car in for the valet parking. The room was decent and clean, very small, but who goes to South Beach to stay in the room? Located smack dab in the middle of it all, right on the main drag, and the beach is right across the street. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting places to eat and good nightclubs.

This is a small Boutique hotel with small, but very clean rooms. It is in the middle of South Beach. It can be noisy at night, but there is great people watching and you are right across from the Atlantic Ocean.

This was an awesome little Art Deco hotel right in the middle of Ocean Drive. The hotel staff was amazing and the price was perfect. The hotel was built in the 20's but completely remodeled with marble floors and flat screen tv's in the rooms. Great location across from the beach right in the heart of SOBE. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at with the location being the prime plus!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. When checking in...the front desk staff was rude and incompetent. When we finally got to our room - there was already someone booked in that room...man was that embarrassing as we opened the door...to find someone else already in there. Once we finally were given another room... it was definitely subpar. I would never stay at this hotel again, and I would suggest the same to you.

I must say that the hotel was a great place to be this past weekend. I came to Miami to visit my family for Thanksgiving and stayed for 5 nights. As soon as I arrived to the hotel, I felt at home, the beds were extremely comfortable, I didn't want to leave the room!
The location is great, right in the middle of the action, it can get a bit noisy at night on Ocean Drive with people walking, talking, music playing, but hey isn't that why we come to South Beach??? I was amongst those making noise by staying out late with my family on some nights till 5-6 in the morning.
I would recommend this hotel to those that are looking to getaway and spend some time on South Beach and to those that can handle a truly South Beach experience. Thanks to the Front Desk agents that made my stay great, Manny, Julio, and a gentleman who worked the overnight, I think his name was Alex.
I look forward to my next stay at the Beacon!

Well, the first night was 175, the next three nights were 275. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. For that price, you would at least expect eggs in the morning..nope, just toast and a dannon yogurt with juice and awful coffee (Johnny Rockets). I did some shopping around and for ten more dollars a night I could have gotten a ocean front room at the nicer end of the beach (15th/Collins) with AMAZING views of the ocean (not the street, like you get at the Beacon), private pool with tiki bar and a REAL hotel expierence. Also, you don't have people smashing menus in your face when you leave the hotel. This hotel is loud and overpriced. Never ever again. OVERPRICED.

The facade and lobby of this hotel have been beautifully and immaculately restored. However the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Avoid first floor rooms (there are two of them) at all costs. They afford a lovely view of the alley where the kitchen garbage is kept, and rock to the sounds (ALL NIGHT) of the hotel washing machine next door. We got "upgraded" to a better room the next night. It was a vast improvement, but still a far cry from a luxury experience (shower stall, no tub, and a view of a the wall of the building next door). The hotel staff was extremely friendly, which helped to salvage this stay a little, but I would not recommend this hotel for the price.
Pros: Location, location, staff
Cons: , shower stall bathroom

I only recommend this hotel if you get a GREAT price. The location is the only thing they have going for themselves. Don't believe the hype about the lounge or restaurant attached to it. The restaurant takes great pride in saying, "we aren't affiliated with the Beacon". It may take valet parking 40 minutes to retrieve your car and when you bring it in for parking, Nadia may yell down to you to just leave the keys on the desk because she's busy watching tv. No room service and no hbo or any other pay stations. And DON'T attempt to raise or lower your blinds because the whole thing just may fall on your head. Oh and NO, the curtains don't close even though sobe is a late night spot that needs room darkening when you attempt to sleep in. Like I said, ONLY if you get a GREAT !
Pros: locatoin, location, location
Cons: valet parking, room size, amenities
