A beautiful entrance to the Inn and Restaurant. I didn't have the opportunity to stay the night at the Inn, but enjoyed the food in the restaurant instead. Entering the lobby was as if you were stepping back in time...to the era of the relaxed southern way of life. Artifacts from the local area adorned the sitting area and parlor. Pictures hung down the corridor to the rooms. The dining hall was large; in the middle was a salad buffet stand, which wasn't in use at the dinner hour. It might have been busier for the lunch crowd; since we ate at 6o'clock, the crowds were thin, especially since it was in the middle of the week.Their specialty was BBQ ribs, chicken and the fixings that accompany that. There was a lot on the plate, and the prices were reasonable. The service was a tad slow, however.I'd recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and want a good BBQ meal.
