American Woman Fitness Spa

Just signed up, and they have great hours, great pool, and great classes. Apparently under new ownership, and they told me they were honoring the memberships from the people who had paid with the other owners that got screwed. So that's a positive. They have really good aqua aerobics and zumba classes too. And they are getting ready to do belly dance classes too. Hey, just what I need. I've been going for a week so far, and it's much better than going to a gym. They've got lots to offer, the pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, fitness. This isn't the correct phone number though.

first sign said simply, "Spa closed". Now a sign says "Opening soon"
What is going on? Closed or Opened? Who is opening it again, what about honoring our yearly contracts, and will it still be all women?
Improvements were made but a new ceiling would be nice. And the pool keep covered at night so it will be cozy warm in the day. Lovely.
And what is the date of the "Opening soon" sign? We need info! Please.

The new owner is a thief, I join this gym on Monday the 17 of November and on Wednesday the 19th she closed the doors. I want my money back!!! Along with a lot of other people. How do you take a business that has been open for forty years and run it in the ground in three months.

Doors have closed and all of us who had memberships are screwed. The new owner did not care about the place at all. Many ladies have been going here for a long time, we are talking 10 years or more, and this owner, within a few months, has run it into the ground. No word on any type of refund for us. Shame on this pathetic woman. Also, no one will answer phone to let us know what is going on....only put a note on door. BEWARE

The hours are now cut at night and on Saturdays. There is only 1 tanning bed working. The false ceiling is BROWN and falling down in places. Membership prices remain the same as before the hours were cut. Staff can be very unfriendly. Pool area and pool remain cold!!! Roaches sometimes appear.

We take the morning water aerobic class regularly. The afternoon water aerobic class can be very unfriendly. The pool is clean although room itself is freezing. The pricing is about the same as other gyms although the sauna and steam room have been broken for 2 weeks now.

Here is a great gym for those woman who don't like being stared at by guys while they are working out. The facility is very nice and they have a lot of great equipment.The facilty is always clean and wellkept as well.
