Just when you think customer service is dead you meet someone like Ed Clem. He was polite and very caring about our families situation. Ed made us feel like he really cared and was looking out for our best interest. It was the most pleasant experience me and my wife have had in a long time. I have been a customer of jon Hall Chevrolet for the past 15 years. I would never consider buying a car any where else. My most recent purchase last month was a new SUV. I always have a positive experience with their staff, especially my salesman, Ed Clem. He is very knowledgeable about their inventory and treats me with respect (unlike my experience years at the AutoMall). The finance department made the paperwork as painless as possible. I have not had to visit the service department with this vehicle yet, but my trips in the past were great. Keep up the good work!!

I always hear about shady salesmen but John was funny and knew all about the truck and didn't really pressure me. I went on quite a few test drives and he didn't lose patience with me at all. I didn't make up my mind the first time there so I went back a few days later and John remembered me and all my info, which was cool. Anyway it was a pretty great experience as far as buying a car goes, the only thing I didn't like was having to wait to talk to the finance guy, but that's not really their fault, they had other customers in there.

I only wish that I could rate this company lower than I had. I was taken so badly by this company who took advantage of an older white-haired woman to defraud her, lie to her, yell at her, and generally treat me as if I were garbage and even accused me of lying!!! I have written to the BB about them, but they simply actually lied to the Better Business Bureau! I was totally unaware that any company would have the effrontery to actually lie to them! I have told everyone I know about what they did to me, thus hoping that they've lost where it hurts the most -- their pocketbook!

I would like to point out that I have never been to a dealership that did not know that warranty on automobiles that they sold. I had an issue with the paint on my 2006 Tuscon. According to Jon Hall is was told the paint was not covered. After contacting Hyundai direct, I was told that there was a 7 year, unlimited mileage warranty on rust through for my auto. I had it repaired at David Maus Hyundai. I also informed Jon Hall Hyundai service manager to explain what had happened and also to tell him they need to know their products. I also left a message for Glen Ritchey the GM but never got a response. I will never purchase a auto or use the service dept at Jon Hall Hyundai again. If you need service go to David Maus Hyundai in Deland its worth the trip.

I bought a 2011 chevy silverado and have never been LIED to to my face so bluntly by the finance guy Jake Lowe in my life. Spending that much money a little respect is all I expected but once the papers were signed they barely new my name. I made no less than 10 trips at 40 miles roound trip before everything finally got settled. We recently purchased a 2011 Impala from Freda Pennington. For a change, this car buying experience was wonderful. We had visited a few Chevy dealers before meeting with Freda and found a very limited selection of colors and models with disportionately high prices.. Most of these dealers did not discount anything from their MSRP prices, even for the 2010 model. In our opinion, if you really want to make a sale, then just give the customer your lowest price from the start while the customer is in the showroom. By doing this you earn the customer's trust and loyalty. Call backs after customers leave the dealership to say you can beat any price do not build trust and are a waste of our time. Freda did not do this. She listened to us and gave us exactly what we were looking for. She gave us a good deal and she did not waste our time. She is a professional and it was a pleasure buying a car from her!

Awful experience! I purchased a CERTIFIED used vehicle and I have put it in the shop at least 8 times in the first month. The managers wouldn't have anything to do with me. They left me out to dry. Horrible company.

I saw your ad on Kelly Bluebook.The car looked great "on line". I called and spoke to Willie Crider your salesman.I had a lot of questions before I wanted to make the trip up there [it was 82 miles]. Willie was happy to answer any questions I had, and I had plenty!
I'm sixty five years old and I've been buying cars for over forty years, so you can imagine most of my dealing with car dealerships haven't been all that great. I really didn't want to travel that distance and get into a bait-n-switch or a low ball problem that I've had with other dealerships.
Willie was without a doubt the best,most enjoyable salesman I've ever dealt with!! He was extreamly friendly,very professional and didn't give me the "song and dance" I've had experenced with so many other dealerships.
I had asked for the seats to be changed from cloth to leather.He told me it would be done in two to three days then gave me a loaner car to drive home in. When the car is ready somebody will drive it to me [saving me the trouble of making the trip again] and drive the loaner back. I have never heard of a dealership offering to do that before!
The dealership closed at five o'clock [on sunday] and we were there till five-forty five.Willie was in no rush to get me out of there.He stayed until everything, everything was done.

I purchased a car that the price was mistakenly put online 5000 cheaper than it was supposed to be and my salesman and finance guy made it a point to tell me over and over that they were not making any money off of me (and they were not very nice about it at all) then a few days later realized that someone at Jon Hall tried to cover up a huge rusty hole. I contacted my salesman right away and he had me come down for the managers to take a look at it. 7 different salesman and managers looked at it and they agreed to have it fixed for me at NO CHARGE. Due to a family emergency I wasn't able to drop my car off so I called an hour and a half before I was supposed to be there. My salesman stated that it was no problem and he would call me by the end of business to reschedule, he never called. So the next day I called bright and early in the morning and left a message. After still not getting a call by lunch, I called again...he still didn't call by the end of business. So the following 2 days I called a total of 7 times and emailed 3 and still did NOT get a call back. The 4th day I called and disguised my voice and got my salesman on the phone, how convenient. He proceeds to tell me that he didn't call me back because he didn't have an answer as to when we could reschedule it but it looks like management has changed their mind and are no longer going to fix it on their dime. After being passed around speaking with 3 other people on the phone I was told that "the big guy" manager would call me back by 5pm, never got a call...so the next day I went down there. They fought with me raising their voices to me telling me that they have no proof that I didn't cause the damage myself. Well the proof was in the damage, the hole was so rusted around the edges and straight through to the bare door that there is no possible way that someone can cause that much rust damage in a total of 1 week (2 now from them not calling me back all week). I told them that they could fix it or give me my old car and money back and they refused to do either. After being there for over an hour arguing with them they finally gave me my old car and my money back and took the rusted car back. I told them I wanted my old car detailed and a full tank of gas put in it and it back in the same condition as when I gave it to them, they agreed. After another 30 minutes they gave me my keys and I did a walk around of my car...someone at the dealership had helped themselves to some of the added things that I had in my car and are now using them for themselves when I brought it to my salesman's attention before I even got in the car he started to get extremely defensive telling me that I have no proof that I had those things in my car, so needless to say it started another screaming match between us. The car wasn't even theirs yet because they didn't pay it off on the date they stated they were going to pay it off, so I missed a car payment on the old car and thanks to them and that will now show on my credit report for missing a payment because of them being so shady and a bunch of slim balls. When I traded my car I gave them all the paperwork from the day that I purchased the car, all the maintenance and service that I have done to the car, when I asked for that back it was mysteriously missing, as well as the paperwork from another dealership showing that they were going to give me more for my car than Jon Hal originally was going to give to me....but all of it....MISSING!!! and they have no idea where it is...now hows that for convenience? Coincidence?...I think not! I contacted the BBB and the attorney generals office about this...and they even agreed and I quote from them "very shady and unethical business practice".

When I traded my car I gave them all the paperwork from the day that I purchased the car, all the maintenance and service that I have done to the car, when I asked for that back it was mysteriously missing, as well as the paperwork from another dealership showing that they were going to give me more for my car than Jon Hal originally was going to give to me....but all of it....MISSING!!! and they have no idea where it is...now hows that for convenience? Coincidence?...I think not! I contacted the BBB and the attorney generals office about this...and they even agreed and I quote from them "very shady and unethical business practice".

Most unsatisfied. Service department does return phone calls. It took 3 days to finally speak with someone. Also, if you purchase a car there absolutely DO NOT purchase the extended warranty.

Its a rare occasion indeed as a car shopper to find a salesperson that??s down to earth and pleasant to talk to. On many occasions over my many years of tire kickin?? I have found many salespeople to be condescending if not downright rude. Eureka was my first thought when I met Freda Pennington at Jon Hall Chevrolet. I actually felt as though she wanted me to get what I wanted instead of the typical high pressure treatment. She was both knowledgeable and cordial at the same time, which put me at ease right off the bat. From my first step into the showroom to my last step into my new truck, I felt guided, not coaxed into what I really wanted. If you??re tired of pressure cookers for salespeople when purchasing a major sticker item like an automobile I would commend you to Jon Hall Chevrolet and Freda Pennington. My latest was an Avalanche and previously a 2010 Camaro and 2007 Corvette. If you haven't tried the Camaro yet do so. Its priced right for the looks and performance you get and is certainly a crowd pleaser. Better yet experience the Vette. You'll fall in love. There's only one salesperson I deal with. Scott Hoxie. He's knowledgable, and trustworthy and always looks out for the customer.
