This is the vet I use for my animals. Every time I bring one of my pets, they're almost happy to be there. If they'll fit, Dr. Stetzer hangs out with my dog or cat on his lap before he does anything. It puts my animals at ease. I have had emergency situations, and he has given me his home number in case I need to call at any time of the day or night. He kept my beloved old, Lhasa Apso alive and happy for about a year longer than expected with a careful and watchful balance of meds. When I finally had to euthanize my senior, failing cat, it was a Sunday. His practice was closed but he did it for me anyway. He truly loves animals.

He is also a great supporter of the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter, giving us low cost service and caring for our shelter animals with the same attention and dignity as he does personal pets. When we bring him an animal that can't be saved, he cries with us while they're euthanized.
