A little out of the way from the touristy areas, but this mini golf course will keep you guessing on most holes. Although the conditions are not the best, the price is about average so you won't feel ripped off. The main limiting factor on this course is once you play this course once, the next time will not be nearly as fun. Worth playing if you are in the area, but don't travel too far to go here.
Walk aboard a pirate ship and creep through mysterious caves. Kids of all ages will enjoy this course. The holes are a perfect combination of easy and challenging which allows every skill level to enjoy the game. For those who need a bit more entertainment there is a decent sized arcade attached to the club house with plenty of games to choose from.
The course is fairly well kept up, although some improvements could be made to the greens. The bathrooms, although clean, are in an odd location at the bottom far side of the course completely out of sight.
The price is reasonable enough to allow families to enjoy a nice round. Only about four blocks from the public beach area this course is a must do for anyone spending a day at Clearwater Beach.
I took my family to play here and it was fun, but not as good as the competition. We went to Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf the day before, and they had a much better course with awesome waterfalls, live alligators, and very well-kept. Captain Bligh's seemed run-down and older. If you want to play mini golf on the Gulf Coast, definitely go to Smugglers Cove, their course is unlike any I've ever played, very challenging, clean and live gators you can feed!!!
