The Catholic experience is not here. There is rarely a penitential rite during the mass. As lovely as the priests are, there needs to be somebody who can speak English in a way that can be understood by English speaking parishioners. The two priests from India, Fr. Sebastian and Fr. Joseph, and one priest from South America, Fr. Jairo all have very heavy accents and are quite difficult to understand. I appreciate them and love them very much but struggle to hear the Word. I don't like to read from the Missal during mass, but hear and participate.

And as far as the parishioners go, there is very little warmth or welcoming spirit there. Calling themselves Catholic and not participating and/or supporting ProLife activities really leaves me cold. These parishioners seem to participate only where they can be seen by humans, instead of where then can be seen by God. I know - I tried the latter there and there was no support even from the pulpit.

I have moved onto a new parish and am praying for more of a true Catholic experience.

Pros: Crucifix and Tabernacle prominently in view

Cons: No native-English speaking priests, Parishioners not welcomi

My husband and I are church of England so of course we are lost living in Florida. We have been to practically every church in a 20 mile radius of our home.

We have been to Our Lady Queen of Peace church for several funerals and always found everyone to be polite. The clergy do a good job.

Most of my neighbors use this church and are very happy with it.

I have seen this church through the years go down the pipes. I remember when I went there in the 70's and 80's the people and the clergy was like family. Now it is rude, money hungry, unfriendly, and selfish. The past priests would do anything in reason to make their people happy. But, now they put themsleves first. I don't recommend this church.
