.

I came to get a pedicure and refill on my acrylic nails. The pedicure was fine, though I had to wait at least 15 minutes with my feet in cold water. For a $20 mall pedicure it's not really worth complaining about, I guess. My real complaint was with my acrylic refills. The technician working on them was so ham-fisted; he cut me twice, was not paying any attention whatsoever to whether my nails were lifting and areas should be cut away before the new acrylic was put on, he used some bizarrely florescent pink powder that doesn't really match my previous acrylic and, to top it off, he put gel on my nails without asking me first and then wanted to charge me extra! When he was ringing up the total I said that I thought the refill was only $14 and he replied that with the gel it was $20. I explained that I had not asked for the gel - that I had in fact stopped him before he had put it on and asked if he was going to paint my nails and had been told that they would do whatever I wanted - and that I was not at all happy that he was doing things that I had not authorized. He then claimed that I was also being charged extra because I was using pink acrylic. I was completely flabergasted by that; in all the years I've worn acrylics, I've had both pink & whites and plain acrylics and I have never had any technician make a distinction between my "pink" acrylic powder and the acrylic powder used when I had just an acrylic (with no white) set. Another technician became involved and was very rude, telling me I should have specified when I came in. I said that I did; it's not my fault if someone doesn't listen. I paid in full (though no tip - he did cut my fingers, after all. TWICE!) because I don't like making scenes but I would advise anyone who's interested to NEVER visit that place. They didn't even look that clean and I did not see anyone cleaning their tools (not even dipping them in nail polish remover before putting them away). There's another nail salon in the mall; save yourself the hassle and go there instead. It may not be great but it can't possibly be worse than this place! I mean, I hated this place so much I actually did a search on them to write a bad review - you know that if I put this much effort into it they were terrible!!

Cons: Appeared dirty, very poor customer service, no skills!
