MY FAMILY HAS BEEN IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS FOR OVER 60 YEARS. MY DAD WAS WITH THE AUNT JEMIMA PANCAKE HOUSES WHEN THEY WERE IN BUSINESS. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS AND IS PLENTIFUL. NO OTHER PANCAKE RESTAURANT CAN MATCH THE ORIGINAL PANCAKE HOUSE. ALL THE REST ARE JUST WANNA BE'S

This restaraunt is fantastic! Especially the Dutch Baby. I recommend it to anyone who dines at The Original Pancake House.

This is the best breakfast place around! Wish teh wait wasn't always so long on Sundays!

Just that.... yummy but overpriced. When you're in the mood for a place with lots of selection, including classics and otherwise, this is it. The crepes are fabulous and hte pancakes are my favorite anywhere.

I have been there twice on weekend mornings. My take is that the food is tasty although a little overpriced for what you get. I have never had good service there and have always been around families with loud uncontrolled kids that drive me nuts. I will go back when I lose my hearing.

Great food, but be prepared to wait for a table. This becomes almost un-bearable on weekend mornings. Try the HUGE apple pancake and dare yourself to finish it! Delish! And almost forgot, there
are only 4 inches between you and the table next

The BEST place for any pancake you can dream of. Their diced ham / scrambled eggs with oatmeal pancakes will fill you up, and never let you down.

Their food is SO good, but the wait is long and the wait server's could cre less about you!

Plates are big snd plentyful. Will fill you up for about the price of IHOP

Oh My Gosh!!! What an experience. I just love the Original Pancake House in Aventura. The portions are humongous adn every bite of it is delicious. This place is a must visit for all.

if this place is anything like the one on biscayne in Hallendale then it's the only place to go ....the pancakes are just perfect. the French toast is thick and gooey. You try to finish it all but it is impossible. And even if you arent crazy about sweet stuff...the cornbeef hash ain't bad either, the omelletes are good too.
Worth the trip..Oh, and on Sundays they have a balloon guy for the kids

The first time that I visited the Original Pancake House, I was with my mother and It was very late at night. We were super starving and there was on where else to go. Momma always said that the best way to cheat on a diet is late at night when noone can catch you in the act. And this was the perfect hideaway. The pancakes were soft and Fluffy and they even had turkey sausage as an option from the pork if you felt a bit of guilt after having five pancakes with that heavenly warm syrup. We even got a laugh out of the waitress after we told her about our "late night oh my god this diet is going to be the death of me creep". On a scale from one to five ficker licks, The Original Pancake House gets a four star finger lick.

One of the best, all-around menu selections! Delicious food, great service, food served hot and fresh and service that is fast, accurate and willing to deliver your order together (when in groups of two or more).

All I can say about this place is that you have to go and order the Apple Cinnamon French Toast!!! It's so amazing, especially on a Sunday morning with your fresh hot coffee!!
