We have been going to Hugo's for almost ten years now and have never been disappointed..The food has always been well prepared and the service prompt and friendly. Our teen-aged grandkids, who have dined in top restaurants in Europe ,

I have been going to Hugo's for years and years. We went there before the renovations when it was a hole in the wall place but the food was still great. The atmosphere is improved and the food is still wonderful. My husband and I both got Milanesa Steak. We should have split one order. It took up the WHOLE plate and was so good. The black beans and yellow rice were perfect and we got a cuban sandwich to take back to our hotel for a late night snack (It is great! I am eating it now.) We drove 700 miles to get to Tampa and the first place we ate was Hugo's. OUTSTANDING!

We have enjoyed Hugo's on SoHo several times, trying various dinners both eat-in and take-out. Our favorite is the pepper steak. Black beans and yellow rice are delicious, too. It's generous servings of good Spanish comfort food.

I just called to inquire about a overcharge on my bill that apparently has something to do with the bank. I accept his answer about what happened, but I have never in my life been spoken to so poorly by a manager of a restaurant. He actually made me cry. The owners of this place should be aware, but I am too scared to even call back for fear of being yelled at again. I will never eat there again and I will never recommed it. Too sad.

One of my favorite lunch spots! It's cheap and fast. Most of all, the food is excellent! They serve large portions and I suggest getting the arroz con pollo which is chicken and yellow rice. They also have great platanos. It is a family owned restaurant and everyone there is extremely nice!
