Trust the bad reviews sorry to say. My repair should have taken 2-3 days. I would have been happy if it took a week. .... Took five (5) weeks. I didn't pay my deductible. That was great. Had to rent a car though. Deductible was $500.

I'd like to start off by first saying that a one star review isn't low enough for this company. My car has been in and out of this business for 1 year... Allstate supplement says 7 days for repairs to be done.. My vehicle was there the first time March 2, 2012 to April 6, 2012... picked up the car and the car wasn't finished... the work was done poorly and it looked like a child had worked on my car. The tailights did not match and things were falling apart. January 2013 my car went back to Crestview Paint and Body because of a busted weld in the rear.. so my car flooded during heavy rain... also, the upholstery in the car had fallen because of the moisture inside of the vehicle from the flooding... my car was picked up from CP&B on Friday, March 1, 2013 and the car was worse than it was whenever I dropped it off for the flooding... All the trim on the inside of the vehicle had either been broken, busted, or just not put back correctly and the upholstery had fingerprints all in it... where the workers took off my rear right tailight there are screwdriver indentions in the bumper... also a sheet metal screw in my tire.. the upholstery doesn't even match the original upholstery that was previously in the vehicle... So here it is March 6, 2013 and my car is still at CP&B and they "say" they are ordering all the correct parts and my car should be finished soon.. so they "say". My fiance' has tried to contact Ed or Scott several times and they are ALWAYS busy or out of office and they never call you back.. You always get put on hold for several minutes as well... I can't even sell my car for what it was originally worth anymore. I don't see how this place is still in business.. The receptionist Christina hung up on me because I wanted to speak with Ed or Scott and she knew who I was...

That is the EXACT reason why I took my truck there. I wanted to find out for myself. From start to finish I was treated most courtesiously. Let me start by first stating quality takes time. That said, I am very happy with the work done on my 2003 BMW. I was a little skeptical thinking the shop would not match the Jet Black color or make it look like it was originally, but I was wrong. It is perfect. It did take longer then I wanted, but as I said earlier quality takes time. Also, they had to wait for the parts to arrive which caused a longer delivery time than expected. Ms. Gwen kept me posted of the situation so I was not worried. Thank you all. I recommended my friend take his car there. The shop picked it up at his house this morning. Time will tell. Do I recommend this shop? Absolutely! Thank you Crestview Paint and Body. You have a satisfied customer.

When I was recently involved in a car accident, I didn't know where to take my vehicle. I had read reviews, both good and bad, for Crestview Paint and Body and after much debate decided to let them do the repairs. It took about 3 days longer than planned to complete but when I picked up my vehicle, I was pleased with the results and surprised to find that I only had to pay $500 of my $1000 deductible. Some work is needed with communication and status updates but overall, I would recommend this shop for repairs.

WORST!! DON'T GO THERE!! they keep vehicle for weeks longer then promised...NEVER CALL BACK! I was on hold for 20 minutes 2 times and finally had to hang up! They give run-a-round on parts like "on orde", gas was on E when I got it, left it there with just under half a tank! Unless you enjoy being lied to, have all day to sit on hold and don't need your car for 6 weeks, I'd go elsewhere!
I think the good reviews are from the people who work there! My insurance company told me they DO NOT recommend anyone go there!

Let me start by saying that I'm only giving it a star because zero stars wasn't an option. Being new to the area I had no idea of the reputation of local shops. After being hit by an uninsured motorist, the police called this company to tow my car. I was initially impressed as the owner of the shop stopped by the scene and reassured me that my car was in good hands and that he'd even give me $500 off my deductible.
The inspection was a week ago now and after not hearing a word from the shop I called for an estimated date of completion. I called for 3 days and was repeatedly told that "a techician" would call me back. No call, so I had my insurance company call. They got the same run around. On day 4 (almost two weeks after the car was towed there) I made an appearance at the shop and was told that they have no idea how long it will take and that NOTHING has been done because they're waiting for additional parts (which should have been noticed on original estimate) and further money from my insurance company. The secretary (who is the only person that would speak to me) reminded me that they were giving me a $500 discount and that she would call me. Oh gee, I guess I should just be grateful! Not to mention, I only have the rental car for 30 days which ends in only 17 days from now. Guess that $500 will come in handy extending the rental at MY cost.
So unless you enjoy unlimited amounts of stress, never getting a return call or straight answer, being without your car for extended amounts of time, and being spoken to as if you're an idiot....GET YOUR CAR MOVED SOMEWHERE ELSE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!!!

I would like to start by saying "I was concerned before letting Crestview Paint & Body pick-up my car."
I read some of the reviews and had to call them first hand. I asked them about their ratings, and they assured me that was not their standards. They picked my car up that evening.
The insurance company gave me a quote for the damage and CPB accepted it without questions.
They said it would take about a week to repair, I called twice during this time and the customer service was great. I got my car back as scheduled and the repair was to factory spec.
I would recommend Crestview Paint & Body to anyone who needs repairs for their vehicle. I had zero out of pocket expense, and the entire experience was outstanding.

Like the others said here, C and B try to get away with as much as they can . They painted my car without even sanding it down ! Plus they didnt paint the plastic trim that we agreed upon , painted over rusting spots, ran down my engine battery from leaving the headlights on overnight, and a couple pieces of trim flew off that they didnt re-install correctly . They should be put out of business .

Do not go here under any circumstances!! I had minor damage to left tail light, bumper, and 1/4 panel, plus asked for a repair on a hood dent. After being told it was a 4 day job, I finally got my car back after 22 days. The paint job is lousy, the car was damaged at the shop and the ECM (computer) had to be replaced, and there were numerous fingerprints in the clear coat that looked horrible but the shop was still giving me the car back. They claim the car was struck by lightning while it was there (they refused to pay for the repair) but I think they either improperly charged the battery or improperly welded on it and blew the ECM. The paint job was determined to be substandard by 3 Gary Smith Honda supervisors. The whole experience was one big buffoon act. Every time I called, I was put on hold for at least 15 minutes, and most of the time, no one returned. I had to call back to get anyone. The owner, Ed Lowe, refused to talk to me, and slithered out his back door as I watched him through his 2 way mirror. The supervisor, Scott, stated that the incredibly lousy paint job on the hood was okay because we weren't paying for it anyway. The owner had told us he would fix the dent in the hood for free because of all the trouble we had. The bottom line is that I didn't want them to keep my car any longer for fear of them damaging it more, either by accident, incompetence, or on purpose. I am reporting them to both military bases, the Better Business Bureau, and anyone who will listen. You will be sorry if you use this body shop.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! You will be out of a car for weeks on in!!! Has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with! They have had my vehicle for 6.5 weeks and are still ordering "Supplemental Parts!" Every week I call and get put on hold for at least 15min. and get the same speech "Yes, they are working on it now adn it will be done by Friday". Well, its 4 weeks later and still no car! I called one time and was put on hold for 30min...called back and another lady answered and said "Im sorry I dont know what to tell you everybody is at lunch, call back this afternoon" DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! You will be out of a car for weeks on in!!! Has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with! They have had my vehicle for 6.5 weeks and are still ordering "Supplemental Parts!" Every week I call and get put on hold for at least 15min. and get the same speech "Yes, they are working on it now adn it will be done by Friday". Well, its 4 weeks later and still no car! I called one time and was put on hold for 30min...called back and another lady answered and said "Im sorry I dont know what to tell you everybody is at lunch, call back this afternoon" DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

i sent my car to crestview paint and body, because they could save me 500$. They did that but kept my car for 6 weeks, and sent my car home with a dead battery, out of gas, and no headlight bulbs in the lamps, and everytime i called i was on hold for ten minutes at laest. I then was told i would not be reimbersed for the battery ,but to mail a reciet of my headlight bulbs and i would be paid for that, but of course they lost the receit and i had to do it again. I am still waiting on that money. I would not believe anything scott or anyone else says there, nor would i recommend them to anyone.

Crestview Paint and Body Shop kept my car 39 days for repair and returned it damaged. The adjustment stated that it would take 9 days. I called on the status; put on hold and waited 15 mins or more before someone came back to talk to me or I hung up and call back. I was told the parts had not come in; mini-cooper had sent the wrong part 3 times; the parts would not fit; etc.
I was called late on Friday to pick up the car; the car looked great - it was sitting outside with the key in the key slot. Got home and the key would not come out; Crestview Paint and Body Shop was closed until Monday I called and was told they would send out a tow truck. If they could not fix it they would sent to Mini Cooper of Pensacola for repair. Scott (manager?) called and wanted to know I had any other means to pay for the tow to Pensacola if it was not covered by warranty or accident related that USAA would not pay if it was not accident related and Mini of Pensacola's road assistance would not pay because it could be driven to them. I told him that they should tow it at their expense and pay for the repair if it was determined that damage was done by someone in their shop. He argured with me over the phone and told me that he was just park the car out front and I could come and get it. I did hang up on him since he refused to let me talk to the owner of the company.
USAA agreed to pay for the tow to Pensacola, where the key slot was replaced and was determined that it was caused from improper use of forcing the key into/or trying to remove.
I went back to Crestview Paint and Body Shop and asked Scott how they would reimburse me for the $199.00 charge and he informed me that it was not their problem or fault. He could not help if Mini Cooper manufactured cheap cars and they should have posted on the dash specific instructions on how to operate the key.
He would not make a copy of the invoice nor let me talk to the owner of the company. He threatened to call the police and have me removed from the shop.

Crestview Paint and Body is without a doubt the worst body shop in the USA. They completely botched up my repair, used used parts and charged the insurance company for new, my paint was extremley bad and the car rattled all over. This was on a 6 month old car! When I asked to speak to Mr Lowe, the owner, I was told that he was not there, I saw him slip out the back door with my own eyes. This man is a coward and is ripping off the public. The insurance company is investigating the claim but have told me that Mr Lowe has good lawyers that always find a way to cover up for him and get him off. No case has ever made it to court. If you don't want your car messed up beyond repair then please ask for another shop's wrecker at the scene of your accident. My car is now in the Percision Auto Body in Crestview and they are attempting to correct all of Crestview paint and Body's mistakes. They told me it was not the first one. I only wish someone had warned me before I fell for their lies. If the other rater here really did get a good repair then I am happy for them, but I suspect that the reporter works at the shop.
