Just three examples here.
One: They simply forgot to tighten the RR wheel on a Cobra race car. The wheel came off and passed us in a race the next day.
Two: They (again) forgot to tighten a rear wheel on my Astro van. It wobbled so bad I only got about a quarter mile away and stopped. Walked back to get them to fix it.
Three: (Why don't I ever learn?) They flat refused to match a tire price on the exact same tire on which I had a proposal from Sears. They weakly claimed the tire wasn't the same. I am a former tire engineer from Akron. Trust me, it was the exact same tire. TK just lies is all.
These all three were at the Lantana store.
Revision:
I actually returned. They had a sale - buy three get four.
All new people there now. Front desk person seemed quite knowledgeable - except he told me that the Sonar brand was made in the USA by Cooper which he said was owned by Goodyear. The internet does not confirm this but says Sonars are made in the Orient.
They balanced and installed everything pretty well this time. They did remove the valve caps we had that show if a tire is low and put plastic caps on the valves. I had to go out and find the ones they took off and put them back on myself. Of course, I got told to get out of the service area by one of them.
All in all the place has improved a lot and I'll go back again.
