Paris Claire Salon

I have had three haircuts here and I will not go anywhere else. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and extremely talented. Each time I have been, a different person has cut my hair, and each time without fail, they did a stellar job. The products they use are wonderful as well.

I have been a most satisfied customer of Paris Claire for years now, however, it is my most recent hair treatment that has encouraged me to write this review (something that I do not usually do). I must first mention that my experience at Paris Claire has always been a fabulous one. I have never had to wait on arrival, always treated with the utmost professionalism and a warmth from all of the staff that you would not get in most salons. I have always left the salon feeling completely pampered and & have not once been anything but most satisfied with the service and the way I felt & looked.
Back to my most recent experience. I have always had unruly hair and was tired of having to spend so much time whenever I washed my hair. After consulting with Claire (co-owner of the salon), we decided that the Japanese thermal straightening would be the best thing for me. I must say that it is a labour and time intense process but the final outcome is worth every moment and more. I have NEVER been happier or more satisfied with anything that I have done with my hair. I think Claire & Laurent (also co-owner) may be the ones tired of hearing me repeat how happy I have been with the outcome. However, I do not get tired of the compliments that I have recieved because of my hair. Again, thank you Claire.
Would I reccomend Paris Claire to anyone? YOU BET!!! And with the utmost confidence that you would leave the salon with the greatest satisfaction.

I was desperately looking to get hair extensions, and went to someone who gave me a very expensive quote.. i freaked out, and started searching for other places that i hoped were cheaper...i found Paris Claire through Citysearch, and went in for a consultation.. i decided to get my extenions done here due to 1) the staff; they are so nice and not fake like most here in Miami (i love Claire, the owner!! she did my extensions) 2) the price... they are realistic with the price they give to hair extensions...most people here in Miami price it too high and end up ripping off their customers...Claire is realistic and gave me a great price..she is very concerned about her customers and cares about them very much.

My extensions ended up looking extremely natural...Claire asked what I wanted to do to my hair, as opposed to other stylists who TELL YOU what u should do to ur own hair... again, she is very caring of her customers and respects their opinion. In sum, i really can't recommend this place enough... i have told all my friends and family to check this place out. It is trule, a hidden jewel. :)

I just got my hair cut and colored at Paris Claire Salon about 5 hours ago. I walked in and was immediately greeted by my hair stylist JOSEPH and was offered drinks for both my friend and I. I love that i did not wait at all. once I was seated I told Joseph I did not know what to do with my hair (my hair was almost to my booty) he suggested what he thought would look good with my face (and some really messed up bangs I had) he made sure i was ok with what he suggested and needless to say IT IS THE BEST HAIR CUT OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!! he cut my hair to about 3in under my shoulder and fixed some ugly peek-a-boo (low lights) I had and the honorable bangs I had cut over the weekend at another salon that I will not even mention. I have never been the type of person that talks to there hair stylist but Joseph made me feel like I was a long time friend. I truly feel like a princess I will never go to another salon again!

Ps. my friend loved my hair so much she is getting her hair done at Paris Claire next week

I went to Paris Claire for permanent hair straightening and loved it. I have done everything to my hair, and found that the consultation and time that Laurant took to explain the procedure was outstanding. I had researched the procedure and he was very frank with what he expected my results to be. Well, its been a month and my hair is as straight as when I left the salon. I am able to wash and style it on my own. I used to go have my hair done almost weekly, in the long run this has really saved me money, becuse I only go back for my color monthly and a trim. I will probably have to have the procedure done again in 9 to 12 months, but its well worth it. I also took my sister in law and she loved it, we both had our hair colored and were impressed by the consultation and results. We love them! Jose and Laurant are great, as well as the whole staff. Will continue to go, highly recommended.

I went to Paris Claire Salon because I read such wonderful things... I don't know what salon these people went to but it was not the Paris -Claire I experienced... When I first walked in the hair stylists were arrogant, and unfriendly, and no one else was in the salon other than workers. When I tried to explain what I wanted both in color and style, it seemed they were not paying attention... Needless to say... I was correct... When I walked in all I really needed was a touch up on a highlight like I always recieved on my blond hair with a few lowlights. What I ended up with was BROWN AND WHITE STREAKS!!! I have never experienced such a terrible Hair Coloring in my life... I had needed a SLIGHT trim... Well several inches later I had short and badly colored hair... I found it to be very overpriced for the quality and service I received...I have now had to go to another salon to try to fix what damage they have caused to my hair... I would never recomend going to somewhere just because someone writes nice things about a salon...

I did a great deal of hunting on the internet to find what I hoped would be a quality salon, I live in Europe and have never been to Miami in my life and I wanted to make the most of my trip. I planned to splurg on myself. Paris Claire had the best reviews so I went for it. I was not disapointed. Having spent years going to stylists wanting to give me the latest trendy cuts, I had a master stylist who asked me what I wanted and delivered. I wanted classy cut and color I got it! From the minute I walked in I felt welcomed by the friendly and professional staff. My master stylest, oh, if I could have smuggled her home I would have. Even though I was only there one time, she offered to help me with my stylist here in Europe. Now that's service.
Now that I am back in Europe, I have recieved a ton of compliments about my new look.

AMAZING!!! I just moved to miami from cali and was terrified to have to find a new hairdresser as i have had the same one for 10 years. I have long hair and i'm pretty protective about it. I chose Laurent from the salon after reading on this website. Everyone at the salon is extremely friendly and welcoming. Laurent asked me what I wanted, was very attentive, and analyzed my hair color with time and patience. I was quickly put at ease. He is an extremely experienced hair stylist and knows what he is doing, but is humble at the same time.
I LOVE MY HAIR. This is by far the best my hair as every looked, and i thought it looked great before. I recommend Laurent to anyone who wants an amazing color and cut. I am not rich, but i think that you get more than one you paid for and I will continue to pay in order to keep my hair looking like this. Thank you Laurent. You are a genius.

I started coloring my hair to cover up the grey, and Laurent and the staff at Paris Claire were (and are) amazing. I have never received so many compliments on the color and cut of my hair. The salon is very professional and welcoming. From the moment one walks in the door, you feel as if all attention is on you. I was immediately offered something to drink and asked if I needed anything else. I was never made to wait while someone else was being taken care of, as I have had to do at other salons. I would highly recommend this salon and all of the stylists there. I ended up taking my daughter to get her hair cut at Paris Claire and I have taken her to many other salons, the stylist who cut her hair did an amazing job. They not only made me feel comfortable about them cutting my daughter's hair, they made my daughter feel comfortable as well. As far as the price goes, I feel that Paris Claire is very fair in their pricing. I have been to many other salons that charge a whole lot more for a lot less.

All in all, the best salon I have ever been to. i am not planning on ever trying another salon again.

I was a customer of Paris Claire and will never set foot in that salon again!!! The services are overpriced, you are made to wait (like everything in Miami) and you don't always get the treatment or service you are promised. There are MILLIONS of other stellar salons in the Coral Gables area, take note of them and forget about Paris Claire.

For me, the best salon ever and best hair dresser ever too!!! Laurent is a really good adviser. I spent like 6 hours there for a japanese hair strigntening, My hair look fabulous and still. The whole team was adorable and sweet.
I wish he could be in France too.

I've tried many salons in Miami and Paris Claire is the best. From the moment I walk in the door I feel welcome and special. I've never had to wait. My stylist is always ready and escorts me straight back to the changing area. This is not the case at many of Miami's "upscale" salons where you often have to wait around for someone to take any notice and offer help. The salon is also extremely neat and clean. I've been to many salons in Miami where I was disgusted by the dirty floors and untidy work areas. At Paris Claire they are serious about maintaining a clean and stylish environment. I also like the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. So many salons seem to focus on how many clients can be seen in one day. I've had stylists leave me stranded while my highlights were processing as they attempted to squeeze in additional hair cuts. I've always had personal attention at Paris Claire and I've never seen them schedule several clients at the same time. The environment is very relaxed and the people are incredibly friendly. I've only been going there for a couple of months and everyone greets me like an old friend.

The actual styling services are terrific. I love the haircuts, highlights, and blowouts I've had a Paris Claire. My highlights are so natural and soft. The best thing I've ever had done to my hair was a Japanese straighening treatment. I have very curly hair and I've tried expensive treatments before. None ever came close to the results I got when Laurent straightened my hair. It is so soft and healthy. It only takes me about 10 mintues to style my hair while it used to take 45 minutes. I was outside at a picnic and it was rainy and very humid. All the other women got very frizzy hair. Thanks to Laurent, my hair stayed sleek and straight. It was amazing and people were telling me how lucky I was to have such great hair. Little did they know! Thanks Paris Claire.

This isn't exactly a review, I was wondering what the prices were like at this salon. I'm moving to Miami for college, and i get my hair done every two weeks. And also, I'm mixed with Puerto Rican, White, Native American, and Black, is this salon good at treating all types of hair? Mine is really long and straight, but it's thick.

I went to Paris Claire (two months ago) to have the Japanese thermal straightening done. If you crave very straight hair, this is the answer you've been waiting for. There are not many salons that do this and be weary of those that say they do, because the stylist MUST be trained to specifically do this treatment and trust me, from start to finish, it is a process. It is costly (I paid $800+) and time consuming (about 5 hours). But it lasts 8-12 months and is well worth the money. Now, as far as Paris Claire Salon goes, I had a fantastic experience. Laurent, the owner, is the one who does it. You first go in for a consultation with him, where he explains everything to you and really takes his time and you leave knowing that you are in good hands. Then on your appointment day, he is 100% focused on only you for the hours that it takes. Laurent was very professional and friendly and I highly recommend him as well as the salon in general. It was very clean and everyone was polite and you leave feeling like a million bucks. I had the Japanese thermal straightening done in Denver once before, and I was very pleased with my experience there. But I will say that what made the difference is that at the end, after me hair was straight, and I was getting it cut, Laurent took the time to do a very nice cut as well...whereas the man in Denver (also the owner of a high end salon in Cherry Creek) took about 3 minutes for the cut and I wasn't impressed with that one aspect. So all in all, I give Paris Claire a 10 out of 10. And if you are planning on having the Japanese thermal straightening done, you will not be disappointed with Laurent. If you are going to spend upwards of $500, do your homework.

I recently visited Paris Claire Salon and I love the fact that my stylist didn't keep me waiting, as soon as I walked in he was ready for me. He gave me a thorough consultation and an amazing shampoo. I felt completely pampered the whole time and my haircut was AMAZING. I highly recommend them and I look forward to going back again soon!
