This place is amazing but extremely expensive--it is $300 a night! The pools are great, I couldn't get my kids out of them! I wished the room was bigger, especially because it is supposed to be for families! The room was pretty clean though and comfy. I might go back if the rates go down, it is just not worth it honestly.

Once you step inside this resort, you will feel that you're at home. Rocking chairs abound inside and out. Whispering Canyon Cafe is excellent home cooking with a lot of crazy antics from the servers. Roaring Forks is a fast counter service. The pools are awesome. Also there is a hot tub located near the quiet pool. Also a nightly light show on the water comes by around 9:45. If you're going to Magic Kingdom, take the boat instead of the bus. If this is a place you'll go over year take a picture of the kids by the totem pole in the lobby, you'll be able to see how much they've grown over the years. This is one of the cheapest deluxes that Disney has to offer.

We love Disney and when they offered a discounted rate on this hotel, we couldn't pass it up. So we went for our anniversary, planning on just enjoying the hotel and all that Disney has to offer. When we checked in, they upgraded us to the consierge level for free!!!! That was an experience we will never forget.

The pool was wonderful, with a slide and a view of a geyser going off every 15 min or so. We had a great time relaxing in the beautiful lobby and people watching. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is an outstanding replica of a great northwestern lodge. From the seven story wooden beam lobby, to the rustic themed rooms, you'll be surrounded by ambiance and luxury only Disney can provided. A ferry boat or bus provide free transportation to all the Disney parks. The closeness of the Magic Kingdom, provides the ultimate viewing of the nightly fireworks while you relax in your room each evening. Dining, shopping, wondefully themed pools and all the Disney Magic are right at your fingertips!

We've stayed at a number of places on the WDW property and by far this was the greatest. The rooms are great and since it is a Disney Vacation Club property they are equipped very well (washer/dryer, full kitchen, jacuzzi).

Take advantage of the kitchen (saves $$$), the pools (a kid friendly pool with a fun slide and a quiet adult friendly pool) and the three hot tubs! There is even relaxing native pan flute music playing outside.

Sitting on our patio we got to interact with a lot of nature - salamanders, frogs, rabbits, and even a resident family of armadillos!

Tip: if you are staying for a few days and plan on spending time at the resort, buy a resort mug at Roaring Forks. For $11 it can be refilled as much as you want during your stay. They are open from 6am to midnight.
