On December 12th I ordered and paid for an engraved silver sterling baby cup. I was told it wouldn't be available by Christmas, I said that was ok.

Mid January I had not heard from them so I called. The husband said he had no idea and that his wife Lori wasn't there but that he'd call me later that day. It was a Friday and I never heard from them so I called again on Monday. While I was on the phone he spoke with Lori and he told me that they had not responded to an email from Lunt (the silver company) that my item was on back order but that it had been ordered and would be in soon. He didn't apologize that I had now waited a month from my item or that they had never even called to give me an update on my order. I was polite and said thank you and in good faith hung up and thought it had been taken care of.

Another month passed and I still hadn't heard from them. I called on Monday, January 18th. He asked if I could call back the next day at 11 because Lori wasn't there and he had no idea about my order. I said I would be working and that I wanted him to call me back and I reminded him that they last time I left a message no one returned my call. He actually told me that if I had left a message on their voicemail I would never get a call back because they don't check messages. I assured him that I didn't leave a message on the voicemail but directly with him. He again took my name and number and assured me that he would call me. Tuesday passed no phone call. Wednesday I went up to the store and requested my money back. I am pleased that they didn't argue with me about refunding my money however Lori didn't offer an explanation for their lack of communication, no apology for taking my money and never providing me with the item, nothing. They treated me as if I mean nothing as a customer to them. I am just FLOORED that a local business would treat a customer this way. Would they have just kept my $165 and never ordered my item?
