Article for Tow Times and/or Towing magazine:

When others said no Sisters Towing said no problem.

When a nonprofit Aviation school needed an airplane to be towed from Miami to Boynton Beach Florida, they encountered a problem: everyone they called said they could not do the job; That is until they called Sisters Towing and Transportation. The airplane was a twin Beech that would be used for instructional purposes, even with the wings removed it was 17 feet wide. After weeks of coordination the airplane was disassembled and hoisted on to a low boy trailer. The engines and wings were also loaded and the crew left under police escort at 4:00 am onto 1-95 north. After they arrived at Boynton Beach the engines wings and fuselage were unloaded by crane. The Boynton Aerospace Science Academy at Boynton Beach Community High School will use it to instruct students at Boynton on airframe and power plant maintenance. The BASA program is a partnership between Embry Riddle University and Palm Beach County Schools, it provides high school students with a college education in the aerospace and aviation industry at no charge to the student or parent. Students not only learn maintenance but are also taught the science of flight and take actual flight with two other donated airplanes at Palm Beach County Airpark in Lantana. The BASA Program and its students are very grateful to Tim And Steve at Sisters Towing and Transportation for their courtesy , service and the excellent job they provided for the school.

If this had a zero star rating, I would give it. Also, "Nikki's" review is suspicious considering she actually knows and regurgitates Sister's mantra. She's probably an employee. Anyway, Sister's towed our truck 2 weeks ago and damaged a brand new bumper we had put on the truck only 2 days prior. Tim Day Mgr. or Owner of Sister's admitted fault but when I faxed him 3 estimates and said we would be happy to settle for the lowest one, he wanted to actually take the vehicle his company had damaged back to his towing shop and repair the bumper there. Since they are in the business of towing, not body work, I refused. At that time, he asked if he could come over to the house for a second inspection of the bumper and bring some body shop friend of his to determine if the three estimates I got were legit. Mind you, we paid almost $1000 for the new bumper and the lowest estimate to repair it was only $250. Considering I could have told him I wanted a brand new bumper, I thought we were trying to be pretty fair. I told him in a calm, rational manner that he could bring over his body shop friend but that I was not going to dicker about the cost and that he had until Monday to come up with the money or I would have to pursue legal action. At that time, this self-proclaimed "fair" person who "wants to do the right thing" hung up on me. When I called back to ask what happened, he laughed like an immature school child and said he would take this all the way to trial and convince a jury that his truck didn't do the damage. I wonder if he remembers leaving me a message admitting fault...? Since I am an attorney, pursuing this with Mr. Day and Sister's Towing will be no skin off my back, but I wanted to let all you other unsuspecting souls out there know. Stay away from this company.

Big or small, they tow it all. Fast, reliable, reasonable prices, courteous staff. We've used this company for small vehicles, to huge heavy equipment. Great company! Highly recommended..
