I have had an AC system that crumbs installed in late 2007. At least once a year or more there are issues with the system and it is the same issue every time,( hot air blows out, house doesnt cool, and its a pretty new unit only 3.5 yrs), This last time on 5/24/2011, they replaced the evaporator coil, which I was told was under warranty. After almost 3 weeks of trying to get them to come and fix the issue and numerous problems with there customer service ( hung up on, placed on hold up to 30 minutes, messages and phone calls not returned) They finally came and did the repair. I found it odd that they did not bring the new part with them; however, they took the old coil from my house to the supplier and brought back a new one. After about an hour and half worth of labor they hit me with a $674 bill and an $89 dollar service fee, for a total of $763, I was shocked especially since I was told the part was under warranty and there was no estimate given prior to the work that was done. I should have asked for one; however, they made it sound like the hole service was covered under warranty. After I received the bill I called the office and was asked them what there hourly rates were and Kyle replied we do not have hourly rates only flat fee's," again I was not aware of this. After reluctantly paying the bill and having a nightmare experience with their customer service office, I didn't know what to do. I don't know what will come of this complaint; however, I needed this to be known, please investigate this company.

Could not keep appointments, left trash in my attic, and do not keep their word. When I called to ask why they did not show up, the girl that answered the phone turned her tone noticeably aggressive. We re-scheduled, guess what they did not show up. They will try to Up sell your pants off!

My AC was probably 27 years old (the compressor was 15 and the handler was as old as the house - 27) and Crums came in and took care of everything from financing me to helping me get all the money saving deals I could ask for such as a nice $350 credit from Progress Energy and about $1,900 in rebates and discounts! All in all I am very pleased!

Crums Climate Control installed a new Amana heat pump and Amana air handler in my condo apartment. Paul did the installation with a helper. The job was completed in a very professional manner and I am very satisfied with both the new equipment and the way these installers completed the work and cleaned up afterward. The unit is working fine and again I am very glad I employed Crums Climate Control to do this job.

Crums were recommended by my sister in law after they did a great job on her house. After getting 3 estimates from different AC companies, they came out as the cheapest and the best deal/warranty over all. Install was nice and easy, been working great!

The heat didn't work in my new home. I had a letter from Crums from before and called to see if they could come fix my heat. They came out the next day and fixed it in a half hour and it was alot cheaper than I thought. Will call Crums again if I need further service, had a good experience.

At Crums, the reps were very helpful, and our tech Jonathan was very fast, efficient, and friendly. A couple of days later a problem arose but Karen at dispatch and the tech Chris were able to solve the issue immediately! I would definitely recommend Crums to all my friends and family.

after a terrible experience with del air (botched install, giving me the run around, asking for more money to fix their mistakes) I called crums and they were able to fit me in that day. the techs were very friendly and were able to explain what was wrong and how they would fix it. their fee was very modest and they even threw in a thermostat upgrade for free. I wish I had purchased my air conditioner from them to begin with, I would have saved a lot of time and trouble. I will definitely be recommending crums to all my friends.

I dealt with Crums at 2773 Navigator Ave, Sanford, not this Winter Park address. Is this the same co.?

First, the new A/C system I bought was very expensive. Should have shopped around. Then they tell me I don't have the proper voltage for it once it's already installed. Then I get a pool of water streaming from it and it turns out they didn't install the proper equipment to detect those kinds of events, which would not have happened in the first place had they installed the outside drain line properly. I had to miss WAY too much work to stay home and deal with these idiots. OH, and they didn't put the model numbers on the original invoice, so OUC rejected my claim for conservation rebate.

Not a week goes by that I don't get a letter from Brian Wrong, from Crums Climate Control, bemoaning the fact that he cannot manage his staff... that's because he guaratees them a full 40-hours a week, regardless of how many installations the company has.

I've never called; and, never would. But, I do recycle the letter.

They will show up to do work and a so called route manager will show up to check the work. Yeah right! They are showing up to see what else they can scare you into buying! Their prices are very high for the cheapest of equipment. You will get all kinds of scare tactics from their sale people. Then nothing but pressures you to sign the contract. Do not let them in your house! You will be sorry you ever did. Call a company who has a sole and cares about their customers! They do still exist. Just search online for all the complaints on this company.

I have dealt with these guys for over 12 years, they have never let me down, I feel like their price is a little on the high side when it comes to service but they always fix it right the first time and I have never had problems after a repair, (twice in the last 12 years) They do my maintenance every year and I'm always very happy with the service. The secound time I called for a repair I was a little unhappy with the repair price so I called and spoke to the owner of the company Brian Wrong who explained everything to my satisfaction he even gave me his cell phone number and asked that I please call him if I ever recieved service that disappointed me.....Where else does that happen?

Crums installed my complete system in 2005 and I have not had one problem with it since the installation. My electric bills have never been lower and the whole house stays cool no matter how hot it gets outside. I would recommend to anyone out there that they give Greg a call and give Crums a chance.

I received a flyer from the owner of the company stating how desperate he was to keep his technisians busy and offred the best deal in AC repair and installation. One of my friend warned me against them, he specifically said that their sales/estimating staff have not made a single initial appointment as yet. he said that the Crum called three time to reschedule the initial site visit(every time due to this mysterious flu that their entire office was infected with!!!!! ). Well silly me, who wanted to give the little guy a chance....
I called , the first availble appointment was 20 days later. Then the day of the first appointment , they called and that mysterious flu was back and their entire sale staff had clled in that day, they wanted to reschedule, even though I was done with them at this point, just to verify my friendd's assessment of these folks, i let them re-schedule..... Make the long storey short for the two next re-scheduled appointment, you have guessed it, their sale staff was down with the infamous flu!!!!!!!!!!! What a way to run a business!!! What abunch of irresposible lairs!!!!!!
