My experience with Dr Butzer and his staff has been nothing short of incredible. I have 2 very large dogs. The new one has been going to Clint Moore since 12 weeks old and he's now 4 months; the older is 4 1/2 years.
As with any blog area there will good and bad experiences as well as pet owners with different personalities. I suggest you take a good long look at this organization, they are the best and most caring you will find. You might have to wait from time to time, but that is only because the care being provided to the pet before yours was as comprehensive and caring as you will expect. IT'S NOT ABOUT US IT'S ABOUT OUR PETS.

My dog had been missdiagnose for several years that was until I was told about Clint Moore Animal Hospital. To my surprise I learned that they are opened 7 days a week and have a friendly staff. (also they have a doctor living next to the practice). They work with many organizations, Golden Rescue, Ruff Beguinings, K-94u. etc,. After many months and 2500 dls I had finaly recived an accurate diagnosis after only One visit. I had spent thousands and I had no answer, and Dr. Butzer had no doubts about her diagnosis. My dog is now doing Very well, she was diagnosed with Mega Esophagus. And the medicatios they gave me worked like magic. Thank you so much for caring and working so hard.

I have a 20 yr old balinese cat, black pomeranian, & choodle (chiuauha poodle),all have been cared for by Drs Butzer& Crane as if they were thier own.I went thru 3 vets b4 I found them.I am a neurotic parent who was able to be w/ my dog when he needed x-rays. The facility is always clean, the staff are the most loving&compassionate human beings you'll find & the animals there always appear happy. Very thoughtful when billing me since I have 3 kids for them to care for!! I've been going to them for over 5 yrs & I wouldn't allow anyone else to be w/ them! They are there for me 24/7, my dog got hit by a car in the late evening I called Dr Butzer & he opened the clinic to see us & took such good care of both of us!!!! I was out of my mind, the little guy was OK & I'm 4ever grateful to all of them. They are Simply The Best!!!!!

PROS: Proffessional, qualified human beings w/ alot of love
CONS: Clients should clean up after thier pets outside bldg!!!!

They spayed my MALE kitten without telling me of their mistake. When I got my little guy home and he couldn't get out of the cage himself, I noticed the incision down his abdomin, and I called and demanded an explanation. I was told "the vet thought he was female". Now I have a kitten bleeding from an abdominal incision and am off to an ER. I would have let him spend the night if this was communicated to me.

I have used Dr. Butzer for over 20 years and there is not another veterinary clinic that I would consider using. He has taken care of seven cats and dog (most of which I have adopted from his clinic) and he is the most compassionate individual, both with the animals, and the families, that I have ever met. Every time my animals come to him, he always gives them a Butzer Buss. Yes, he kisses my animals on the face. It is obvious that he truly loves what he does and loves his patients.Two years ago, I was forced to put my beloved sheltie, Casey to sleep. I sat on the floor and held Casey during the process, and I am not ashamed to admit that I cried like a baby. Much to my surprise, I looked up to see Brian crying as well. The entire clinic shared their condolences with me, and I could feel that they shared my loss.In addition to Dr, Butzer, there are 4 other veterinarians at the clinic. In emergency situations when Dr. Butzer was not able to see my babies right away, I was always able to see one of his co-workers, and each proved to be extremely knowledgeable, which came as no surprise as Dr. Butzer would not associate himself with anyone less than the highest quality when it comes to caring for animals.The clinic is not perfect... sometimes you have to wait a few more minutes than you would like to, but knowing that the doctors will give you and their other patients the time you need to care for your beloved pet and answer any questions you may have, make it all worthwhile.

I have many friends who use this facility, incusding myself and it is top notch! The Doctor is wonderful and compassionate and the staff is full of love. I would recomend thos palce to everyone who has a treausred and beloved pet!

5 Fantastic Veterinarians - Great Pet Resort - My pets have been patients for over 5 years. These are not only extremely qualified vets, but also some of the most compassionate.
If you board your pet, there is 24 hour vet supervision - That's not a claim, it's for real.
If you use the veterinary services, you have your choice of 5 vets or you can see anyone (my choice since I want every vet on call after hours to be familiar with my pet), though we generally see Dr. Leinen, as he is the most familiar and can easily provide specific care. He's also a very compassionate physician, as are his colleagues.
They also have a 24/7 policy of calling you back within 12 minutes if your pet is ill.
Don't we wish that we could get that level of health care!!!!
