I love, love, love Dr Lewis!! He's a little quirky, but he takes great care of you. He's quick in the exam room, but efficient. He has years of practice and knows what he's watching out for. I always looked forward to visiting with him in his office afterward because he reassured you and if you want privacy just ask him to close the door. He respects your wishes and I still call his office 2 years after my youngest son was born just to say hello or ask a quick question and I don't even live in the state anymore! If you have questions, voice them, he'll take the time to answer them.

A great friend of mine recommended him and briefed me on how the experience would be. I was prepared before hand knowing how quick he'd be but also to not be shy and ask a question if I needed to in the exam room. I always had a question for him!

An extra perk to having Dr. Lewis do my second c-section was that he noticed I didn't scar very nicely with my first c-section incision and cut it off and helped make sure my new scar would look, feel, and not cause me as much discomfort!

I am a patient of Dr. Lewis. Following your appointment, as others have stated, he does meet with you in his office - with the door wide open, the next patient seated outside the door, and the waiting room/staff/etc about 10 ft away. I don't doubt his ability as a doctor but this really bothers me considering he has discussed some extremely private matters in this setting - things I would not tell my closest friends. Thanks, but no thanks.

I switched over from Tampa Bay Womans Care and must say how the tables have turned! The office staff have been nice and helpful and Dr. Lewis is funny and nice. He is the head Obstetrician of St. Jo's. I am so glad I made the switch though, I actually feel comfortable there and there isn't a long wait, if any after your appointment time!

I've been a HUC at a few hospitals and clinics andI've never seen a doctor like Dr. Lewis. He is my OB/GYN and I love him. He and his staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and he takes the extra time with each patient on each visit. It makes a great impression in this world of gotta go, gotta go, for this busy MD to take the time to make you feel like you are his only patient.

The first time I visited this doctor I was amazed because after the time in the examination room, when very little discussion happened, the doctor visited with each patient in his office. He does this with every patient on every visit. Every woman knows just how hard it is to talk to your doctor after stripping "waist down" and being covered with a large but thin piece of tissue paper. Besides providing this extra dignity and respect, Dr. Lewis is also one of the most revered OBGYNs in Tampa as head of obstetrics and gynecology at St. Joseph's Womens Medical Center.
