WOW, thats all I could say to say about this shelter. It's one of the most cleanest most helpful and friendly ones there are out there as of right now. I couldnt belive it since usually you'd find some of the animal cages dirty or papers mixed up and adoption was so much difficult , yet this one the cages are spic and span, so clean throughout, and the adoption process has no hassle and is a total no brainer. The animals they offer to give up for adoption are always so friendly to the people coming in and out, you'll definetly be happy since this place is ideal and meets the requirements to bring a 5-star animal shelter. They treat the animals there like a little iece of heaven and that might ust be the best part since they seem so happy and the workers so friendly towards them!

PROS: very clean, great workers

This place is immaculate. I have been in other Human Society establishments before, and most of them have such a stench, it could choke a horse. (No, they do not have horses here!) The animals are displayed in clean cages and are easy to view. There is usually a very good selection (which is a bit sad in a sense) and they encourage the adoption of older pets. At certain times of the year, they have a Buy One Get One Free promotion.

The process to adopt a dog or cat is very organized. You can usually get served in about 10 to 20 minutes on even a busy day. They have a nice waiting area.

What I like about them is their screening process so that people who may not be good candidates for ownership can usually be eliminated. They will not give you a pet if you have other pets in the household that do not have their vaccinations up to date. The staff also inquires about your living situation and finds out if it would be conducive to having this particular animal.

Each animal comes with a 30-day free health policy. You can go to any VCA hospital which they have designated to get your animal the scheduled shots for free. There are, however, a few later on, which you are responsible to pay for.

I love the 4 cats I have gotten there over the years. I hope you will take a look yourself. You'll probably want to take them all home!

PROS: clean, excellent service, knowledgable staff
CONS: Ringworm not uncommon-VCA will treat for free

This place is great. I have gotten two dogs from them and a cat. It is so nice that you can go in and go threw and look at all o the animals and then when you want to see one you write down the number and then they take you to a room and bring the animal in for you to see. Its so nice.
