This was the WORST and I mean THE WORST dental office I have EVER been to in my entire life!!! I had a coupon stating that for $59 I was entitled to exam, xray and cleaning if I hadnt been there before. There was nothing else on the coupon that said anything about restrictions.
When I called to make my appointment I made it clear that I needed a cleaning, and that I would be using the coupon that I printed out from online.
Upon arrival I gave my coupon to the lady at the front desk, she stated "ok you are getting xrays and an exam"; I then said "what about the cleaning? look at the coupon" She said "oh yeah, a cleaning too."
So I went in and they took x-rays and the doctor poked around at my teeth and said ok my assistant will be right back with you. They both left the room and the assistant came back with a paper saying they wanted $188 for a cleaning!!!!! Not to mention over $2500 of cavities to fill! (I recently had my teeth x-rayed by my stepmother who is a well known very experienced prothodontist and all I had was ONE SLIGHT cavity!!!) I knew they were full of it and were trying to scam me to get extra money right away!
I asked the assistant if I was still getting my cleaning today and she said no I had to come back and pay $188, after I had already been assured by the woman at the front desk that I would be getting a cleaning today!!!
Then I went to the front desk to request a refund for not providing me with the services promised. As I was arguing with the front desk attendant the doctor came out and started arguing with me about the situation. She was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional.
I told her that I had expected to get a cleaning today, and her rude response was "Well thats why you shouldn't assume things." I then corrected her and told her that I was not assuming anything, I was just going by what the front desk personnel had been leading me to believe.
Then she stated that it is against the law to get an exam and a cleaning on the same visit, so she didnt know who misinformed me.
I said fine I just wont come back, and the doctor walked away.
Then I continued my conversation with the woman at the front desk and asked for my refund again. She asked how I paid, and I said cash. Then she told me that it is complicated to get a refund and she would have to talk to a bunch of different people for approvals. I told her that isnt my problem, and she should talk to whoever she needs to in order to get me my money back.
She then said she couldnt do that because it would be too difficult, so I asked her for the number to the corporate office.
As soon as I left I called the corporate office and the woman there was completely rude as well. I was speaking with an elevated voice because I was very frustrated and I felt like I had been scammed. The woman screamed at me and tried to talk over me, and at one point told me to "shut up and listen". (Her name was Danielle)
Danielle told me that they cant issue a refund, they can only issue a credit. (Which contradicts what the front desk agent told me)
She also told me that I needed an "intermediate cleaning" which was not covered under the free cleaning coupon.
So I asked her why I wasnt informed that there are terms and conditions prior to my visit, and she stated that they were printed on the coupon.
(When I got home later and printed out another one I noticed that she was lying and there werent any terms or conditions)
I then insisted on getting a refund because they were using false advertisement not notifying the patients before hand, and then her response was "We dont have to tell you anything prior to your visit, because we wont know what kind of cleaning you need before hand."
Then eventually she said "Okay I will give you a refund but then you will be charged full price for your exam and xray" which would be more money out of my pocket!!!
So I asked for her supervisor, and she said the supervisor wasnt available but she can transfer me to her voicemail.
When she transferred me the phone hung up.
If I were you I would never go there!!!
