Country Kennels Inc

I have taken my 2 miniature schnauzers to Country Kennels at least 6 times, probably more, over the past 3 years. I have referred several of my friends to them and they are now loyal customers as well. The staff is consistently friendly and very caring and loving toward the animals. It's never fun to kennel my dogs when I'm out of town, but there is a lot to be said about knowing they are in excellent hands while I'm gone that gives me that "peace of mind". I highly recommend them.

My dogs (four male terriers) actually scratch on the door to get IN to Country Kennels -- that's how much they love it! MaryJane and her very caring crew know all their "regulars" very well and take super excellent care of them. We have been boarding our dogs at Country Kennels for about eight years now. Recently we moved about 30 miles away, but Country Kennels is well-worth the drive.

I have taken my dogs to just about every Kennel is Sarasota and this is one of my top 2 favorites. My dogs are always happy when they arrive and come home from Country Kennels. Country Kennels have nice indoor/outdoor runs and the staff takes the dogs out 3 times a day to run in a big open fenced yard.The kennel is clean, the prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. They also don't smell like the the kennel when they come home.

If Country Kennels is booked, I would suggest trying All Pets Motel on Fruitville. The runs at All Pets Motel are very spacious. The one Kennel I would not recommend is Sandy Lanes. My dogs acted strange and appeared traumatized when they came home from Sandy Lane Kennel.

Country Kennels on Honore is a small, friendly place to board your dogs and cats. I've been using their facilities for over 15 years, and have always been very satisfied. The runs are clean and provide a good amount of space, indoors and outdoors. The dogs are kept separate from each other. All the staff are friendly and helpful. My dogs have been happy there, as evidenced by the fact that they quickly and willingly enter the door! This is one of the very few kennels in this area which is open Sundays and holidays. The prices are very reasonable, although they only accept cash or checks (no credit cards). Because it's a small kennel, be sure to make reservations early. I highly recommend this kennel.
