We were sold a 3 year contract and it turns out it is a 5 year contract. Should have hired an attorney to read the fine print. Regardless, we paid 3 years in advance and once you need service you are screwed. We have wasted over 6 hours with customer service and every one of them gives us a different lie.

Currently we have no idea what is working and what is not. We are getting about 100 emails an hour saying our system is armed and then disarmed. Because they were so late arriving for the install we never got any training even though they promised multiple times to come back they have yet to come back after 3 years. We are unable to change security codes, and our contact phone numbers and emails. We have requested the original docs we signed and they keep telling us "no problem" we will email them right away. Still waiting.... They are the nicest folks when they take your money - then smile all the way to bank while they are stealing from you.

Beware - after you sign a 3 year contract - it automatically renews for 2 years. They can increase your price and you are still bound to the contract. Beware!

I have a CONTRACT with Safetouch. I owe a set amount per month per the CONTRACT. They just raised my amount and said they could even though I have a CONTRACT!!! They are losing a customer!!!

horrible experience. A sales rep named Harold Kopach came over and went through his sales pitch. Wanted me to spend over $1,000 on a system for a rental house when I already had a system. When I said I needed to think about it he became rude and belligerent, I had to kick him out of my house! I felt threatened in my own home by a home security person! Stay away

I've had SafeTouch for almost two years. I have never had a problem, have always had excellent customer service and response time. I highly recommend them.

If you're looking for GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE don't look at Safetouch- you WILL NOT find it with Safetouch. The only thing that exceeds their lack of customer care is their level of incompetence. Details of my experience are too mumerous to spend the time and effort to share here but if your objective is to be treated like a second class citizen and be disrespected go with Safetouch. My recommendation to Safetouch: divert some of your marketing monies to customer service training.

I thought that safe touch was gonna be a great provider until, BOOM lightning hits my home that i hadnt been living in for 60 days yet! Safetouch had just gotten $350 to install my alarm/2 key pads not even 45 days prior to the lightning hitting! So now im stuck in a 5yr contract that i intially thought i had signed up for a 3yr contract but come to find out they did it for 5yrs..Not to mention they say they wouldnt repair my system unless i gave them $250..So im left without an alarm because i refuse to pay it but they're still debiting $ out my account every month..SAFETOUCH SUCKKKKKSSS!

I have found this company to be an great value for the services they offer. I have been a satisfied customer for several years and have not had any issues. Every time I have needed service they have responded quickly, and even fixed my system for free after my house was struck by lighting. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good security system to protect their home or business.

Do not let other reviews discourage you from doing business with this company, they do stand behind their products and do everything they say they do! Thanks to their fast response, my house was saved from a fire because of a bad fan that started a fire in one of my bedrooms and they had the fire department at my house before it totally destroyed my house. My 14 year old son was at home after school when a stranger began knocking on the door and would not leave. He pressed the panic button on the keypad and the operators that came over the 2 way speaker and microphone kept him calm and notified the police that he was home alone and that someone was trying to break into the house. The police responded within minutes and when the siren sounded, the would be bad guy ran away. Later that afternoon, the police apprehended the person! I am a customer for life!

Attention SafeTouch\nMy Name is JD\nI want my account with Safe Touch canceled immediately.\nReasons are as follows.\nApproximately 3 week ago at 2:30 AM a smoke alarm started beeping. (No one called us to say we had a low battery and which smoke alarm is was coming from) We could not sleep so I powered down the monitor and disconnected the backup battery. (The beeping stopped) This did prove it was not any of the wired smoke alarms that came with the house.\n\nI called the next day after work and was told that Safe Touch smoke alarms do not beep, and insisted is was one of our wired smoke alarms that came with the home. I told the person that these were not Safe Touch smoke alarms, and were from ADT, which the safe touch sales person said they were perfect!\n\nWe changed the battery in the wired smoke alarm that was right next to the wireless monitored smoke alarm the wireless monitored smoke alarm was still beeping.\nI also asked why we werent called, and was told that Safe Touch does not call for that problem.\n\nA Safe touch technician came out, his name is XXX. He assumed it was a bad battery in one of the wireless monitored smoke alarms. After this, the beeping stopped for a few hours and then started all over again.\n\nOnce again I powered down the monitor and disconnected the backup battery. (The beeping stopped)\n\nI called Safe Touch again, and once again asked why we werent called, and was told and was told that Safe Touch tried to call. There are only two things left now, the Carbon monoxide detector and the motion sensor. These are now disconnected. All was quite once again until 3 AM this morning\n\n3 AM this morning, both key pads started beeping! This is the worst alarm company I've ever used. I would highly suggest you look at EMG or ADT. The folks at Safe Touch are poorly trained, lack customer service skills, and are all around rude. Good luck if you choose these clowns.
