Turning Point of Tampa violated my anonymity. I had no releases of information for any one. jim dwyer, a therapist at Turning Point of Tampa, contacted my family. When I complained, jim dwyer told me I could sue Turning Point of Tampa.

It was a mistake to attend Turning Point of Tampa.

This place saved my life. I wouldn't have the life I have today if I don't not go to this treatment center. It's strange to read the few reviews that say this place is 'terrible" because that wasn't my experience AT ALL! I never

I am an alumni of turning point and I was there in 2010 and I am still sober and active in recovery to this day. I think some of the negative reviews are people mistaking the name for another treatment center in St. Petersburg that is also

Turning Point is a very attentive, hands on treatment center. Most of the staff at Turning Point are in recovery and able to understand the challenges of early recovery. The staff genuinely cares about each client and they take many

As an alumni I have nothing but gratitude for Turning Point. They saved my life 10 years ago. I was in residential treatment at Turning Point in 2004. I was interested to see how the reviews were on Turning Point and was shocked at some of

I was a patient at Turning Point they are completely biased and racist. They make you do meetings all day and 99 percent of the time you're listening to others experiences. You only get to see a therapist once a week and the nurses are terrible as well. The residential community is called The Village and it's nothing but drama and gossip. No cellphones, no internet, no debit cards, nothing in an aerosol can, no nail polish remover, no hair scissors, no hair dye. If you're a minority I don't recommend this place to you. You're surrounded by a whole bunch of crazy ass white people and they try to make you seem crazy. I mean people that take a pill cocktail daily crazy. Go to Fairwinds. You can do all the stuff at turning point at home get a one one therapist, a psychiatrist, and go to NA and AA meetings daily, do things to keep yourself busy try a piano lesson or something like that. If you must do residential go to Fairwinds. Turning Point will dissapoint you.
