Poor communication skills, made promises they didn't keep, were very "friendly" when they thought I was going to buy from them, but the tune changed when I was honest and said I was going to continue to shop around for a better price.

Vero US 1 Nissan

Sir,
In August, 2009, I purchased a new Hyundai Elantra Touring car from Route 60, Hyundai. At that time I gave my 2004 Nissan Quest to my Daughter, Patricia Capo, of Queens, NY.
The car was the best one that I ever had, and it ran flawlessly. That was, until she came to visit us.

On Wednesday, July 14, 2010, My wife and I had to go bowling. We were supposed to use the Quest, but it wouldn??t start. The next day we called AAA. They couldn??t start the car also, so they towed it to the Nissan dealer in Vero Beach. That is when our troubles started. Nissan was going to give it a diagnostic check and let us know what they would find. Ron, service called and said that the test revealed that the spark plugs were weak, and the fuel injectors were filled with carbon. They estimated, $700.00 to get the car working again. Ron called Friday nite and said that they did the work, but the engine now has a bad miss. One of the new plugs is not working. He said that they must take the engine apart again to check it out. On Saturday, Pat the Service Manager called and said the computer was defective and they had to replace it. They must order it and won??t get it until Monday. That evening, they called again, and said that the car still has a problem. They must take it apart again. On Tuesday, Pat called again and said that the fuel injector
pump was bad and had to be replaced. It is on order and they expect it Wednesday July 21, 2010 Morning. Wednesday, Ron called at 11:00 AM and said the car was fixed and could be picked up at Noon. When we went to check the car, the plastic air intake hood wasn??t attached and was bouncing around. Pat, Service Mgr., went inside and obtained 4 plastic clips to hold down the unit. These mechanics?, don??t seem to have pride in doing a good job. This explains why they had to take the engine apart 4 times to find that the car needed a fuel injector pump. They charged my daughter $1202.07. I am under the impression that this was mostly for their incompetence.

My daughter made it home, to Queens, NY, without any problems. She said that it worked flawlessly and had a great trip. Home.

I will warn all my friends of the terrible experience with the service that Vero US 1 Nissan is capable of.

My husband and I mistakingly bought a car from this "business" a few years ago! We got roped in BIG time. They lied and twisted things around until we thought we were buying a gold mine! HA Then we had the idea a few weeks ago to go look and I mean look at a few cars. We took our chance on a Sunday figuring they would be closed. Well, they weren't. And we were attacked by the sales staff. Literally attacked. When one couldn't sell us a vehicle another came out to take his shot and when that didn't work the manager came out (by the way sir, you need some help) to make me an offer I couldn't refuse and actually tried to keep us from getting in our vehicle! We were then trying to back our car out of the parking space while our car was surrounded by 4 sales people the manager banged on our car and screamed at us all the way out the parking lot yelling prices to get us to come back! Are you for real???? In my opinion, ANYONE WHO IS STUPID STUPID ENOUGH TO BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP DESERVES WHAT THEY GET! Read all of the comments that were left for this dealership.....none are good.

I had made an appointment on phone with a salesman called Benny to purchase a Maxima. I told him what features I am looking for and what price I am willing to pay. He confirmed that he had one with those features and at that price in stock. I drove about 45 mins to this dealership. Benny wasn't there even though I had made a prior appointment, so I had to wait for about 20 mins. When finally I got the keys to drive the Maxima we talked on phone, I figured it was a demo vehicle with more than 5000 miles on the odometer. Benny deliberately suppressed this fact from me even though I clearly mentioned that I was interested only in new ones. Instead of apologizing, he kept on arguing that a demo vehicle is a new vehicle. I went on a test drive with a guy called Craig in another Maxima. When we returned he told me to park it just behind my car even though there were many other parking spots available. I offered a price but Benny wouldn't negotiate. Another guy, supposedly the sales manager, came to explain to me what price they bought the car for and why they can't accept my offer. All of that was meaningless. Both his and Benny's tones were very disrespectful. I couldn't even leave as I couldn't take my car out. Benny is an outright liar and thinks of himself as the best salesman of the world. The good thing about Vero Nissan is that their dealer fees is $399 (as compared to $599 for most dealers in central FL) and they include certain services like free oil change, two tanks of gas, etc. in that fee. The dealership is in a sorry state with the sales manager yelling at his staff rebuking him in front of the customers. Trust me, it wasn't a drama worth watching. The dealership is very small and the new cars are parked so close that one cannot get into a car without touching the one beside it. I will not recommend Vero Nissan, especially Benny, to anyone.

Cons: High price, limited stock, sorry state of dealership, bad attitude and disrespectful behavior of salesmen
