As soon as I walked in the door I was blown away. The rooms are gorgeous and very spacious for a family of five for a week. Sliding glass doors next to the divan open up onto a balcony with a wrought iron table and two chairs. As I stepped out, I thought what a view sarcastically since all I was seeing were two large condominiums. After a moment, I spotted a cruise ship between the two buildings and realized that the ocean was to my left and the Intracoastal Waterway was to my right. What a view!!!

The one complaint I would have is the lack of drawer space for our clothes. The only space is in either night table in the bedroom (2 small drawers each) and each of the divans on which the television rested (2 somewhat larger drawers). I would guess that they expect most people to hang clothes in the closets which are a decent size, but we're really jeans -n- t-shirts people, so that didn't apply to us.

The resort has a restaurant at the beach which wasn't open while we were there, although they did cater the various night's activities. There was a Mardi Gras night, a Beach BBQ Night, and a Luau. We didn't sign up for any of these, so I can't say how the food is. We did partake of the afternoon cocktail offerings of cheese and crackers and fruit, and also saddled up to the bar a few times. The bar was fine for mixed drinks, but other than a pina colada, they didn't seem to make any frozen ones (hence my emphasis on having a blender in the room).

There is also room service of a limited menu - the type you would find in a snack-bar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a small store with grocery items from which you can purchase the food if you don't wish for it to be brought to your room, and soft serve ice cream is available.

PROS: nice rooms, heated pools, spectacular views of ocean & Intracoastal
CONS: lack of drawer space
