I have been to quite a few thrift stores, and this one is just mediocre in my book. A lot of the clothes are worn and not clean and the store has the smell of musty dirty laundry. Most of the shoes were old and worn.

There are some bargains to be had, but you need a lot of patience to find them. I was in there several times over the past few weeks and I found the prices to not be too great for a thrift store. For example, they were asking $15-$20 for men's suits that were not in great condition. Even with the discounts which they give on certain days, it is still not worth it.

The shelves for the gift items and bric-a-brac were sparse and what they had was a bunch of junk-stuff they should just put in the trash.

PROS: some good items, but you need to perservere
CONS: narrow aisles, difficult to shop

If you look carefully, you can find brand new designer clothing and accessories for less than $5.00. It takes a lot of patience, but if you spend time looking, you will notice that many items still have tags on them or have never been worn. I have found name brand clothing from Ann Taylor Loft, DKNY, Gap, Banana Republic, and Liz Claiborne, just to mention a few. Clothing that would cost $75.00-$100.00 retail can be bought for just a few dollars. I have even scored a brand new Coach handbag for $5.00! I do not know how they decide on what prices to assign their merchandise, but I guess it depends on the employee who is working that day. Many of them do not recognize some of the designers and will price those items very low. I only buy new items. Realize that many stores donate new merchandise to thrift stores. They send the bulk of their older merchandise to outlet stores and some to thrift stores. Why buy the same designer clothing in an outlet store at a mall, when for a few dollars you can go to a thrift store and buy the same thing? Also, be sure to check their board to see which color tagged items are reduced even more (25%-75% off). However, before you purchase any item, be sure you look it over carefully for any damages. Once you buy it, you can't return it.

PROS: Merchandise is arranged neatly
CONS: It takes lots of time and patience to find amazing buys
