I've taken my cat to Cross Creek Animal Medical Center for over 6 years now, and they're easily the best vet facility around, with Dr. Hodge being the best vet in Tampa Bay! My cat had a rare parasite that the first vet we took the cat to missed. Dr. Hodge took the time and researched the parasite and was able to effectively treat my cat immediately. I credit Dr. Hodge with saving my cat's life and thus, my cat has been healthy for 6 years and counting! Dr. Hodge not only cares for animals like no one else, he also cares for the pet parents, being exceptionally informative and supportive!

Just like any expectant parent we were both excited and nervous awaiting the arrival of our Old English Mastiff puppy. Both my husband and myself are medical professionals (for humans). We did our research, leaving nothing to chance with our new family addition. Dr. Hodge and the staff provide care that can only be considered as excellent. Our little guy is treated just as if he was one of their own. He actually looks forward to going to see Dr. Hodge and the staff (I can't say that I feel the same about my doctor). We are very pleased and do recommend CCAMC highly.

Simply the most caring and helpful animal medical center I've ever dealt with. I can call with concerns and rest assured that the Dr. will be given my question - and within a day I'll hear back with an answer/recommendation. Dr. Tim has done both my dogs' spay/neuter, as well as dew claw removal surgery and anal gland removal surgery. On all the surgeries, Dr. Tim has done a great job, and his staff is excellent at keeping you informed during surgery/recovery. My dogs love seeing Dr. Tim, it's almost like he's their surrogate owner - he treats them as if they were his own.

I have been taking my dogs to CCAMC for years. Dr Hodge and his staff are exceptional. Caring, knowledgeable, fun, informed, erudite - - just a few of the adjectives I use to describe them to my friends and neighbors. They have become part of my extended family.

I was considering going to CCAMC until I read this page. Tim H. convinced me to try a different vet. If a person cannot leave a negative comment without being personally attacked, I do not feel comfortable going there. I come here for honest feedback. Stop being defensive and you will have better luck finding new customers. I will keep looking.

My 2 labs have been going to Cross Creek Medical Centre for many years and they have always been given the greatest of medical care. The practice is unbelievably thorough,complete, and unprecedented medical care. The grooming staff is excellent and will treat your pet as their own. I can highly recommend this fully competent veterenarian and staff as they are knowledgeable and thorough for all your pets needs. They are tops in their field and your pet will be taken care of with the utmost of care. If you want your pets to live a long and happy life please seek out proper medical care as I did and experience a great doctor/client experience at Cross Creek. I love knowing my pets are well taken care of can be treated like the beautiful babies they are.

I have brought both my cat and my dog to this vet and have had excellent service every time. Sometimes the service is a bit expensive, but the quality is well worth it. They send us check ups anytime the animals are needing a routine shot or a test!
The staff is very friendly, and great with animals! The location is always very clean!

I absolutely love taking my puppy to Cross Creek. The staff is wonderful and they make going to the vet a really nice experience. My great dane puppy actually loves going in for his appointments. I think it's because the staff is so warm and friendly and it's apparent that they truly value you and your pets. The center is very clean, and he receives excellent medical care. The center also sends cute little email reminders when it's time to give medications.I also appreciated the way the staff followed up after he received his vaccinations, to make sure he didn't have any kind of reaction. I recommend it to every pet owner I know. I would especially recommend it to people who own Great Danes. One of the vets on staff (who is usually there Weds) owns a few and has great first hand knowledge of the breed. He's definitely offered some great advice on issues that are specific to Danes.

This person isn't giving the full information. The pet
came in and was so matted that the skin had sores from the matts. The fur around the genital was so tight that the pet was urinating on itself. The dog has a severe ear infection, dental disease and hadn't been taken care of. The groomer tried her best to groom the pet, but had to shave the fur down very close due to all the matting. The pet was very uncomfortable due to the matting and skin sores caused by the matting that the dog had to be sedated. The groomer tried to take time with the pet so as not to cause the pet to be upset. The grooming was stared right after the pet came in, but due to the difficutly of the matting, much more time was taken. The pet was not allowed to go home until the sedation had worn off. This person is a horrible pet owner and shouldn't be allowed to have pets. The owner paid full price, but was given a discount by the groomer because she felt so sorry for the poor dog. In reality, she should have been charged more for all the extra time taken. If the owner felt the dog looked ridiculous, then she should have taken better care of the dog to begin with and not blame the groomer or this hosptial for the horrible state she had allowed the pet to get into.

I took my dog to Cross Creek Animal Medical Center one time to be groomed. I thought the cost was a little pricey, but the location was perfect. I dropped off my dog at 8:00 am per my appointment time. At 3:00 pm I contacted them to check the status and they still had not started on him. Finally at 4:00 pm they called me to let me know that my dog was being difficult and they were not able to complete the grooming. Upon arriving they presented me with a dog that looked ridiculous. I told them that the problem was most likely that my dog sat in a cage for almost 8 hours before they started working on him. Most upsetting, they demanded that I pay full price for the "lack" of sevice I received. I do not recommend them.

CONS: Terrible customer service
