1st visit after 6 years, what a disappointment. The Oysters were not that great, service was really bad. it took well over an hour, when I asked about my order, the owner, went back to look and found it setting under a heat lamp, dryed out, over cooked, fries so greasy, when we got the bill, it was nearly 40.00 for 1 burger and fries, 2 doz oysters, and two cokes.
pass this place, its just not worth it. Go over to mexico beach or port st. joe for good, fat, big oysters, at great price.

It's old and dirty. I had the fish po boy, the fish was fishy tasting, ate mainly the fries and the waitress didn't even ask why the sandwich as eaten. Didn't care, Will never go back.

This place is pretty cool. Fun for everybody and of all ages I remember even going here in college and seeing my teachers. By the Cajun or Jalapeno baked oysters, they are great! The house special is great and you get along for 18 bucks.

When this was just a tiny oyster bar that served a little beer and fresh oysters, it was exactly what you'd want in a joint like that. A little success over the years really seems to have wrecked the place, though, and it seems that too much of a good thing is awful.

I wouldn't ordinarily make the drive from the Thomas Drive area that far for a raw bar, but being out there anyway, I dropped in after a long absence. they've expanded a good bit over the years, and while the place has been shined up just a bit, the food quality and the service has really suffered. Owners Mack and Johnny clearly aren't minding the store.

My friend ordered oysters and I got a shrimp dish for an early dinner on a Wednesday evening. The place wasn't too busy since it was early and the off-season, but it still took us ten minutes to get a waitress to bring us a beer. The first beer was flat, and the replacement was mercifully quick.

My shrimp was chewy, clearly not the fresh product that they used to serve. My friend said that the oysters were average, certainly not the good stuff out of Apalachicola Bay. With so much great seafood, and so many great seafood restaurants, I just don't understand when folks pass off such mediocre food. Do tourists really care so little?

It wasn't the first unremarkable restaurant experience I've ever had, but when we *finally* got the check, I nearly choked. Nearly fifty bucks. No thanks.
