As a vegan or vegetarian, you can get a great meal from the small plates. The spinach pie is made in a sheet and is often dry. The Village salad is huge. Chick peas and rolls are brought to the table complimentary. I used to go here for the fava beans, but they have been removed from the menu. The only hitch is that you will be asked to leave if you are not ordering $25 or more in an entree and drinks. They open at 4 PM. You will be served early. Later, the atmosphere is like a frat house with dancers and customers dancing on top the tables. The waiters throw napkin in the air in celebration. I don't feel the tables are cleaned well after street shoes are on them. The music is so loud that you can not hear the person across from you.

Nice place with authentic tavern setting. Food was good especially the appetizers. They offer $30 and $40 a plate family style meals. They had some good offerings in the family style but a lot of the meat wasn't anything to write home about. Appetizers can be a nice meal without getting too heavy Deserts are good as well. Only one Greek beer offered.
