Reflection  4 Star Rating - Very good

Great place for mediation, if you are up to it. But the first thing and the most astonishing thing you see is the green hand, with figures around it that you must see to believe. Then comes the marble wall where the names of those that died on those horrendous times. It is the smallest museum, but a nice thing to do to come in, reflect. After all we live and breath history, and history gets created with each breath we make, and we must learn the mistakes of yesterday to avoid them tomorrow.

Great place of thought and reflection.

A most moving memorial  5 Star Rating - World class

Everytime I drive by this memorial I am compelled to stop and pay my respects to all who perished during the Holocaust..The first thing you see is the huge outstretched toward the sky..On closer look the figures of men, women and childen clamoring toward the top as if trying to escape their fate are heart wrenching.

The grounds, though small, contain moving photograghs in a manner that convey the atrocities that took place. There is a small area to reflect on all that you have just seen..A place to pray nothing like that can ever happen again

PROS: A sight for all to see on Miami Beach
CONS: none

In Memory of The Six Million Jewish Victims  5 Star Rating - World class

A statue of a giant arm, tattooed with a number from Auschwitz, rises from the ground...The lonely path...some great shots can be taken here.It is a dark and lonely stone tunnel illuminated little sunlight, horrible memory of the camps carved into its walls. A crying child statue is seen from a far. This is an incredible graphically detailed Memorial of the 6million Jewish Victics murdered by Nazis

A completely worthwhile experience  5 Star Rating - World class

This memorial to the Holocaust is probably the most moving I've seen anywhere and rivals any of the war memorials in Washington DC. I won't describe it, but I will say that it's a must-see in Miami. It might not be your idea of a fun afternoon, but I think you'll be glad you went.

Astonishingly Powerful!  5 Star Rating - World class

I have never been so moved by a piece of art or sculpture. As As you walk through this free memorial you'll come around a corner and see an astonishing, enormous sculture which captures the tragedy of the holocaust without a single word or text. This must be seen to capture its power. This memorial in Miami manages to be more impressive than the holocaust memorials in Washington, D.C. or France.
