Don't take your child to that clinic. The dr. are not bad if you ever get a chance to see them. When you need to see a dr, you only got to see the nurse. Because the dr. are too busy. That is mean unless you know your child will be sick 10

I grew up in Coral Springs, and I went to Coral Springs Pediatrics as a kid for as long as I can remember. When I had a child of my own, I knew there was no one else I would want to trust with his care. Both Dr. Cheresnick and Dr. Liang were my doctors as a kid and they are still with the practice. They are both excellent doctors, very knowledgeable and they are great with my son, very friendly and always make him feel comfortable (which is NOT easy to do at the doctor's office!) The nurse practitioners there are wonderful too. There is sometimes a wait to be seen -- of course there is, they're pediatricians! But I have never felt the wait was unreasonable, and they always try to get us in and out as quickly as they can. And when we need an urgent appointment, they have always been able to accommodate us. I just wish we could find "grown up" doctors we like this much for us!

My wife made the appointment for my son a couple weeks early. I called the day before the appointment to confirm the appointment and to ensure I knew where the office was. I showed up the following day only to find out that they had cancelled the appointment and tried to call me but the phone numbers they had were invalid. I did not ask why the appointment was cancelled. I assumed that the doctor had something come up. It wrote it off as merely a miscommunication and not a big deal.

They were helpful in getting my son in with another doctor within 40 minutes. The initial conversation with the doctor included a brief discussion of the confusion regarding my son's appointment. During that conversation he shared that the office knew about the doctor's absence a MONTH prior! Why was my wife able to make the appointment? Why didn't the office share that with me when I called? When I told the doctor that I had called the day before he said "We don't have a record of your call." What difference does that make? Does the lack of a record of my call somehow mean it never happened? Am I a liar? Was he questioning my integrity?

The visit went downhill from there. His overall bedside manner was awful. He even asked "Are you a republican?" (I had a copy of a Glenn Beck book with me - BTW, I am registered Independent). He also asked "Are you separated (from my wife)?" Oh, and they lost my son's shot records, which my wife had dropped off there personnaly two years ago when we moved here. Nice.

Pros: None

Cons: Many

I went to them as a child, and now I am bringing my child there! The doctors are all great and caring, and knowledgeable. They are very easy to reach by phone, always available to answer questions, and will fit you in if your child needs to be seen that day. Convenient location next to the Coral Square Mall. I wish I could find a GP I like and trust as much as these guys!
