My brother got married last weekend, and everything about the wedding was great except for Gillianne Weddings. The price quote given to my sister in law was $2000, but Sara Hale, the owner, neglected to tell my sister in law that an additional 15% of every dime that was spent on the wedding would be added to the bill. The hairdresser she recommended was paid to do hair and makeup for the bridesmaids, bride, and mother of the bride. She however, only did the bride and mother of the bride's make up and no one else. The hairstyles that were done were less than professional and had to be redone because there were bobby pins hanging out of the bridesmaids' hair. The money for this service was not returned even though the services the girl was paid for were not completed. The owner refuses to give a break down of pricing for rentals such as chairs and tables. The caterer, recommended by Sara Hale, did not give the excess food that was left over (due to the fact that 50 or so relatives could not fit in the venue) and paid per person by the bride's parents was not given to them. The staff took the rest of the food. These are the major issues that came up for the wedding. Be careful with this planner!! The brides mom has tried to contact Sara Hale, owner of Gillianne Weddings, and can get no response.
The wedding day should have been perfect, and the bride trusted the planner to be honest with her, why did she take advantage?
