Dancewear Corner

I went to Dancewear looking for tap shoes in my size. I'm an adult with narrow, and not very tiny feet, so finding a variety of shoes to choose from has been a bit of a problem. After all, we're not in New York City. I decided to go to Dancewear and see what they had. I was pleasantly surprised with their large selection fo shoes, leotards, and tights (they had other things, but these were what I noticed as being a larger than average selection). They had all the styles in my size, and the customer service was great! Very friendly and knowledgable. They also have a children's area where the kids can play while you try on shoes, etc.

The location is very cute, too. It's located in downtown, historic-looking, Clermont. The inside of the building makes you feel like you're in a Dance studio in the city.

The only thing that irked me a bit were the prices. I had a little trouble filing out that check, but it was worth it. Overall, as a new dancer, it was nice to have a large selection to try on, walk in, etc., and be able to feel the difference in shoes all at one store. I'd been several places that maybe had one style that fit me, but I couldn't compare the others...they could special order them, but I'm not the type of persont o spend that kind of money on something I can't try on first!

PROS: Large selection, great customer service
CONS: Prices were a bit high
